i'm just thinking really that beef should've picked up the mistakes being made last match, so it's not entirely jev's mistake. either way glad to see they rematched and keen to see the rest of the tournament.

Nah i don't think it's beef's fault, especially when jevin took out 2 cards with the chest instead of 1, how beef supposed to know that. Also jevin's pace is unnecessarily fast and confusing while the GM already has to keep up on so many things

There was a bunch of errors in the last game. Like for example Jev took 2 item cards when using the chest item when he only supposed to take 1

not sure if i understand the rules, but i noticed Jev used multiple effect card's in the same move more than once

I'm guessing because Jevin made some mistakes last match.

Jev played 2 effects in one turn 3 times and he accidentally took 2 items instead of one and xisuma played 2 effects in one turn not realising that geminislay involves a coin flip

Xisuma just made bad moves like why did he waste the Corus Fruit to switch to Joe Hills for which then got him knocked out he made some really bad calls this game

It's so frustrating watching X play. That's in no means disrespecting X, I like him a lot. It's just that there was a way for him to win but he just makes too many mistakes. In both matches he could have won a massive upset but he just made the worst possible moves at certain critical points. Of course there's no shame in losing to Jevin, he's the favorite to win the championship, but that makes the fact there were multiple opportunities for him to beat Jev all the more frustrating

Cub is misinterpreting the text on composter. The first two words of the effect are "discard two cards". I mean, what do you think you should do first? Maybe discard two cards? That said, this could be simplified by changing the text on all cards to read "Discard two cards." Giving it is own sentence. But the spirit is there even without the correct punctuation. I don't know how cub can be so wildly misinterpreting the text, this seems like something he would have been all over it from the start.

I believe it’s because the composter card has been played with a lot the way cub said. So it’s less about what the card said and more about how the hermits have been using it. That being said, I believe the GMs were talking about it, because of the conflict of card text and how it’s been used.

I can see the confusion, but Beef ruled in favor of the card text at a recent match, and Cub was there! So it seems that this particular card comes down to the opinion of the residing GM, which is frustrating.
