I love this! Am very excited to get to the herald myself (29 levels away atm). Just wish instead of teleporting you out youd get to a massive, literal VAULT full of treasure and stuffs! Maybe some murals of famous treasure hunters even? And that's where you can loot the Vault for the trophy. But either way, thank you for an amazing series Iskall! Get well soon! Excited to see you in Hermitcraft!

I dont know if this is as important for players; but as a viewer it would be cool in the vault party hud it showed who had left the vault, or died maybe by turning their head black and white or a slash for death.

I would be lying if I said I wasn't sad that it's over. This was my first introductions into a lot of the hermits, and I think you all did a smashing job at Vault Hunters. Congrats on beating the infamous Herald! It is no easy task. Iskall, you and your team absolutely killed it as usual, and as always. Us hunters really respect what you and the team do. Thank you! :D

Wow, I'm impressed with the mechanics and design of the boss and arena, and with actually having to interact with things the mod provides (gear, abilities, etc.) in order to overcome it. I've played quite a few mods and modpacks that add bosses and such, but this is the first one I've seen (so far) that doesn't seem like it can be cheesed and trivialized with only using simple Minecraft mechanics.

I didn't realize how important that tank role was until the final phase. You were having to eat so many high rolled attacks, every time you nearly died my heart jumped lol. You all did fantastic and I'll be watching the other hermits povs in a bit. Sad to see the series end, but happy about everything achieved! You all did wonderful!

WOW! I've been an admirer of the technical feat that is Vault Hunters for a long while. This is my first time seeing the Herald fight, and I find myself once again completely and utterly blown away by the level of polish this thing has. I'm thinking back to things like the boss fights in Galacticraft (all totally lame), and I've just never seen complex boss mechanics done well in Minecraft, let alone meticulously animated! I can only imagine the blood, sweat, tears, and $$ that have gone in to getting this amazing game to where it is today, and I totally don't understand how it was done with you and a small team. It's clearly a labor of love and a passion project, and I'm so excited to keep watching it evolve. I've always enjoyed your single-player VH series, but I never really had the urge to play it myself -- I've always gravitated towards the classic "expert" packs with a heavy focus on automating everything into oblivion, so given the whole premise of VH is around what I considered "manual farming", it didn't seem like it would scratch the itch that I'm looking for when I play modded. This series has really changed my thinking and convinced me to give it a try myself! Bravo, good sir.

This series was amazing and I love the Boss Fight, Mojang should take notes because I love how it has several phases (well so does The Wither I guess its got 2), it incorporates the Mining part of Minecraft, there's almost a bit of a puzzle element (well maybe puzzle isn't the right word?) to it as you have to figure out how to damage it like with the chest section of throwing things at floating chests and that final phase with those blood thingys just such a cool Boss, the thing I've wanted in Vanilla Minecraft more than anything is a 3rd Boss

Such a wonderful idea, bringing the hermits in to play vault hunters, and I'm so impressed with your drive and passion pulling up everyone that could make it to level 100! Seeing the fight play out like it did is such a compliment to the game design skills of you and your team, where everyone's build filled a necessary niche, but those who made it to the end did so because they had more time in the vaults to practice and experiment with their builds to find the best ability and gear combos. congrats on this lovely series, looking forward to what comes next!

I absolutely adored this series to bits and while I'm sad it's over, I'm so proud of what everyone achieved and so happy about how much fun everyone had, even the people who didn’t make it to lvl 100. And the Herald itself? Absolutely amazing boss fight and a complete joy to watch. This boss is so cool literally putting the most crucial mechanics of the vaults into a boss: looting, mining, mob slaying etc it's nice seeing everyone figuring it out together and it's my first time seeing the boss, hope you get well soon iskall man

I think an audio indicator of when he loses aggro would be great for the bleed phase. That way those who are chasing them down know if they're potentially being chased. Maybe like a roar when he shifts to a new target.

Yo that fight was insane (It looks 'slow' just watching but it's one of those 'you got to play it to understand' kind of fights) I'm glad you finished this Vault Hunters seasons. I will continue to suggest it until it maybe happens but. Imagine Hermit Craft crew entirely on a vault hunters server. I can only imagine the nonsense Doc, Grian, and Scar would build (Stress has already shown how insane she is with all the extra blocks) and Pearl and Gem too.
