Theyre glitching into the glass because the water is pushing them into the corner, then when they grow up, their hit box expands to inside the glass and they can pathfind into that space because theyre already partially occupying it.

I really dislike how frustrating it is to manage villagers. I would like them to be a lot less overpowered, but way way easier to move and to control. Especially over longer distances and especially with those new trading mechanics that are coming.

Have you tried the glow squid sound? It's a got a wet noise fitting the honey alongside an ethereal jingle that comes right after. Definitely my favourite mob sound so far!

It would be so cool if the player heads had a certain dialogue when put on a note block! For ex. Bdubs' head will say " YOU'LL SPEAK WHEN SPOKEN TO !!!! " Or Scar's "THATS WHAT SHE SAID"

You might want to swap out those glass panes in front of the composters in the trading hall for fences, as I'm pretty sure a baby zombie can still get to the villagers by jumping on the pane and working their way into that corner 👀 other than that it's an awesome build though! Also, for the elevator, if you can't find a mob head sound you like, remember you can mess around with different blocks under the note blocks as well! A simple ding or chime might just do the trick 👌

a useful tip for autocrafting honey blocks is if you put the crafter feeding into a pot, it will take the honey but shoot out the bottles, makes separating the two really easy.

hey xisuma, instead of using honey blocks for your elevator i think you can use flower pots and still be able to go up it since it isn’t a full block. plus it matches more with the pillars that the note blocks are in lol

Found that villagers standing on double carpet still helps too. I'm using double carpet and magma block under stations. Villagers stand next to each other (separated by trap doors) and they stay linked to their work stations somehow...

i saw suggestions for the glow squid as the elevator sound effect, which i think could be a great choice - otherwise, you can just keep it simple with a normal tuned note block! you can make a bell/glockenspiel ding using a gold block underneath, or a chime sound using packed ice underneath :) perhaps even with the note playing at a higher pitch for each ascending floor!

the villagers growing up inside the glass instead over the little stone wall in the waiting area is because these little villager boggers can fall in the tiny gap that connects the wall with the dirt lmao if the water was ending just before the stone wall, you could fix that issue with carpet on top of the wall c:

I also playing minecraft in 1.20.1 i play with teralith biomes. And the old villager trades still work if your in custom biome. So i still got mending and all the other books in custom biome. But if i go to an biome thats vanilla based is example swamp. Taiga etc the 1.20.1 trades are there. So for the minecraft players with custom biomes advise trade halls im custom biomes

I always appreciate when you or the other Hermits leave in your simple mistakes. It reminds us that you're human just like the rest of us, and can add too many villagers to a breeder. It might be kinda fun, or creepy, if you dispensed a pumpkin onto the villagers' heads. Then they'd be one with the pumpkins. 🎃 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃

You must put more beds outside the enclosure with an opening (remove 2 glass cube and replace them by 2 trap doors blocking the way to the beds and it will work perfectly with 4 villagers inside. Cosmoghost

Good work on the villiger trading hall build! It looks very nice. I'm just offering a suggestion and not a criticism here. But, I think the ceiling might be enhanced by using hues of green. Maybe concrete, terracotta, or prismarine variants. Green, especially a darker green, would balance well with the darker wood tones and the orange. On the color wheel, using dark greys, bluish grays, and oranges means the complimentary color would be either green or yellow. So, maybe mess with those colors. As it's the ceiling, you could even use yellows to make the space feel higher by having a brighter color up high. And if you could pull off a slight domed shape to the ceiling then it would give it a more majestic classicalism feel (architecture term). That style is common in a lot of buildings of power around the US (like the Capitol building). Because you already have columns in the room, then it would fit with the current style. Again, just a few thoughts and ideas from an old artist and not a criticism. You've done a great job and I appreciate you sharing it! Thank you!

I think just a note block with an emerald block under it would suit your elevator noises the best! Mob heads might be good for a door, but if you’re using the elevator a lot it’d probably get annoying!

You can try multiples head sounds at the same time to have like a mix, not sure it will help you but some are nice combine together like stray, camel and phantoms for a monster sound !

The "zombie curing" sound would work for a toilet. Maybe for a golden apple head? Also for your elevator, the Warden might have some cool sounds for it? Or even a beacon sound if you have that "trade blocks for heads" tweek? Suggestion for the mob head tweek. Maybe you could have a head for each sound that a given mob makes, similar to how goats have eight different horn sounds?

Just an idea X... Why not replace the Middle Composter with A, Well... A Pumpkin? The Villagers would still be Farmers because of the other Four Composters and it would be A rather nice touch to have A bit of ORANGE in the build and it shows what is the item that would be traded with them Edit: Ok... Maybe A different block, like maybe an Emerald Block instead

As the Ministry of Idiots, perhaps you should go around to each Hermit's base to install a trading hall representative of their base. For example, Gem's boat might have a few fishermen on the dock or perhaps some weaponsmiths/armorsmiths decided to play pirates and take over her boat. Ren's should be a faux trading hall of lecterns with nitwits.
