Since you seem to have watched Evo and the other series...do you ever think of Grian as a character instead of a person just playing Minecraft? Because if you think of it that way, Grian is a God (watcher), has been killed millions of times, was there in the beginning of time (because of Evo), watched/killed his friends (3rd life/last life), and has seen worlds end. I think Grian as a character would have gone insane

@@RoobyRai Maybe! Honestly I think of everyone more as characters than the people playing the game. I don't think c!Grian (character Grian) would've gone insane, though, solely because all of that (except for the things involving Watchers) happen to a lot of Minecraft KZbinr's characters!! They kill their friends (often permanently!), their worlds end (and sometimes friendships with it!), and plenty of KZbinrs have been here since practically the beginning of Minecraft time (Etho, for example!). Maybe Minecraft people just have a stronger mentality than we do. After all, they 'grow up' in a much more brutal world!

This enhances all the lore in Grian's part of hermitcraft like 10% what's been presented. U took that rift n total confusion n ran with it and I love that. I feel like this season they all decided to put the slightest bit of lore in their projects that could lead to a world ending event. Grian's rift. Bdub's cult n tree of whimsy. Cleo being a gorgon. I can't think of any others rn but ik there's more. This way they have multiple options for ending the season when the time comes so it's not just one hermit causing the end. And is feel like maybe they can use Grian's rift to both explain the sudden appearance of the cult labyrinth and the sudden world changes that 1.19's gonna bring.

The link skin is present the evo phase I know It's his old skin before the EvoSMP but most ppl(artist) prefer to draw his this way In my opinion it's kinda separate Him from Hermitcraft well and kinda fits >:)

I really wanna analyze the ending where we see Grian's "past lives" at 00:48 The first is his death in Last Life Season 2 The second was his death in Third Life (Last Life Season 1) The third is one I am not sure of... Creative version of him? How he is the role model of builders in the mcyt community? Who knows? The fourth is when he and his friends get into the boatem hole to escape the collision of the moon is season 8 Hermitcraft The fifth and final one.... I'm not sure, he is wearing this link inspired customer, and he seems to be jumping off of something. Only season 8 had a very detailed ending, with seasons 7 and 6 not being dramatic. (Nevermind I found it, this was old Grians skin, though not sure why he seems to be jumping off). EDIT: Thank you for the help! The Third is the Watcher Self, from the lore created in Evo when Grian left. The Fifth is his old skin, reflecting where he started and could probably jumping into the portal, where he became a watcher. I really like it! I really hope that Grian builds on this later on in the season. Good work on your part to animate it!

the third is his "watcher" self, which was lore from Evolution SMP (an SMP he was on before hermitcraft). highly hiiiighly recommend at least going through some of the lore recaps, if not watching the series itself bc Evo SMP was a treasure. The Link skin is also from Evo SMP, also not entirely sure why he's jumping off but it might have something to do with the End dragon fight in Evo and how the Watchers chose Grian to take away while the others continued on to the next update.

Oh man this is so nostalgic, I’ve been watching grian since I was around nine and I’m seventeen now, I remember when he started EVO and I was so sad when it ended but then hermitcraft came around and it was so cool to see more people enjoy his videos and to see him socialize more!!!! I miss EVO still sometimes but it feels like hermitcraft expanded his horizons and as a fan there’s nothing better than seeing someone you idolize be idolized by others
