This song is exactly what I’m going through right now... “If I let you, don’t take me for granted... if I’m worth more than you could manage... If you want me, don’t take me for granted...” Literally my life rn... Why, as women, do we give guys so many chances knowing they don’t deserve it. I’ve realized, I do it because there’s always that thought that they really care about you enough to change their way in some aspect... it’s not the case tho... If someone shows you who they are, especially more than once, believe them...

This song exudes words of affirmation (love language), accountability, humility, care, vulnerability, submission, and sincerity. As a man I am fully revived at the display of accountability that the song writer displays in the lyrics of H.E.R being the Master of her Fate and the Captain of her soul. Why though it may only be song, this is the degree of transparency and labor that is required for a successful bond or relationship!

Ta damn right H.E.R. is here!!! And they people she got behind her know wtf they doing by giving the Bone Thugs beat remember These our the days of our lives from Set it Off 💣🔥💯💪 this the type of music I like I dont mind that it's a sample but she did this right that goes for the rap artist out there too lol you use somebody's original shit come proper on it and H.E.R. definitely did on this💯
@OneYulaw3 жыл бұрын
@@gregswann5479 Nope, the credit needs to go where it's due. It's not a Bone Thugs track sample. It's a sample from Herb Alperts - _Making love in the Rain_ which features Janet Jackson and Lisa Keith. Bone thugs sampled this track as well. Her range is pretty average, she resonates well in her lower register but she stays there far too often. I would like to hear her explore other parts of her voice.

Absolutely phenomenal....I'm a middle age man, and this song made me FEEL something. With all the emptiness in the world, this just added something "tangible" Thank you. H.E.R.
