I don't think I'll ever be fully prepared for this but HERE I GO. I'm already so emotional because your Devil's Tears vid is what convinced me to watch DC in the first place and you were there every step of my pjo journey so they'll always be tied to you for me. And then you go a vid them to my favorite folklore song and it's all too much tbqh!!!!! I love how you started with all the ask me to stay moments, one of the best parts of many great things about their relationship. The way you shifted from Joey to Pacey's perspective for the verses was PERFECT because it fit them both perfectly and it shows that they were both equally trying in this relationship. God my words shoot to kill when I'm mad with that prom scene...how dare you. And then at 1:51 all the soft yet angsty dance scenes with that chorus, just heightened the emotion for me. It's such an honor to see you vid them again and I legit can't wait to watch this for the rest of my life!!!

Awwww, A! I'm sorry it took me so long to watch this, but I made it. FINALLY! First, I love you too. PJ is one of the earliest shared interests that bonded us, for sure. I don't know that I was the absolute first PJer, but certainly, I was among the first of us. Probably I am the first one you met though. *hugs* You inspire me too. I'm so proud of how you've grown as a person and that we've maintained our friendship all this time -- even if we don't get to chat much anymore. It's so great to see a new video from you! I've missed them. Lovely song choice. You always do a phenomenal job matching lyrics to your chosen topic. Watching this just brought back all the emotions and how much I enjoyed sharing our love of this couple with you (and writing and vidding about them). One thing they always went back to was "trying". I've been hankering to rewatch this series (even if the change in music is annoying) ... and I've been thinking about that PJ video I never got to finish. If I could, I would, but the computer I had it on died. I don't have a video editing program anymore. Maybe I'll decide to post the unfinished version (if I can find it) or one day be able to get a new program. But I'd probably have to start from scratch! That said, it's telling how these two still hold up almost 20 years after the show ended. Neither Pacey nor Joey was perfect, but it was how they made each other better, more alive, and never gave up on each other that earned them the True Love ending they deserved. And it wasn't about lust, or status, or shock value, or any of the things so many of the TV "relationships" for teens (and sometimes adult shows) seem to be these days. This duo was honest, messy, and about as real as a "fake" couple could get. They had mutual respect, love, passion, and hope. And that last one is something they probably still give to the millions of new viewers who discover this show each year. Sorry I got so poetical there, lol. But I LOVED it.
