Does combo instinct happen during origin? If not, make it so that origin triggers rifts and hero's burst would be pretty big

The FD that IC gives effects the damage of origin. The drawback is that IC duration goes down during the animation so if anything just pausing IC duration while the animation is going would be nice.

hero is def above average, not as good as top tier classes as mentioned but prob on the higher spectrum of good classes. the alone makes it a top tier class with above average mobility, and hard hitting damage. Hero is a high A tier while NW, Xenon etc are S tiers.

It really isn't. The class is below average in KMS and AS10 pushes the class to average tier. The current state of 6th job hasn't been kind to Hero
