1. James, absolutely pulled the dish together beauttifully. 2. Jamie, stayed calm and cooked up a lot of the food layed out by Ben, which is pretty much all you could ask for from him, and he even added pancetta. 3. Ben, sketched out a solid plan with plenty of options for the guys to choose from, which is the best start at this I think we have seen. 4. Mike, ate the batter, which is at least a solid contribution to the video. 5. Barry, left the hobs on...

I got quite nervous when Mike mistook the batter for a sauce and started cooking pasta to go with it. It could have been a hilarious disaster if he had gone last! Seriously though, what happened to his taste buds to dislike cheese but enjoy raw flour? From best to worst: James - trimmed and tailored a bit of a mess into a very decent dish. Ben - a solid start, setting up most of what made it onto the final plate. Barry - cooked what was there, didn't screw up. Jamie - figured out the cauliflower fritters but attempted sabotage by cooking mushrooms. Mike - ate a lot of raw batter.

1) Ben- he set up a solid base, and left enough there that the others had things to go on. 2) James- He came into one hell of a mess, but pulled together a coherent dish. 3) Jamie- Bacon. Nuff said I think. 4) Barry- Put together a nice looking pork lump (loin? listen I don't eat meat enough to know which bits are which roast me if you want). 5) Mike- Turned a knob, boiled some pasta, and ate a bunch of raw frying batter. He takes number one in entertainment value though!

actually there is no difference between a sauce and a batter. Eggs and flower, if you put in a frying oil it's a batter if you put it in water it becomes a sauce.

Thank you for doing this on my birthday. You can't imagine how pleased I was to see a Pass It On challenge when I tuned in on 1/13/19. I actually made this the following weekend but I added the linguine w/ pancetta. mushrooms, garlic & parmigiano reggiano.

Order from best to worst contribution: 1) BEN - almost everything in the final dish was something he envisioned, and it worked! 2) JAMES - ignored the chaotic additions and pulled it together 3) BARRY - actually helped cook existing things and didn't make things worse 4) JAMIE - fried some cauliflower in Ben's batter. But he didn't pickle the other cauliflower; he added unnecessary mushrooms, and gave himself a ridiculously high score for not really helping much, lol. 5) MIKE - he finished the pork at least...
