hi guys, here's my much awaited First Ride Review of the Hero Karizma XMR. I compare it with its Rivals R15, KTM RC200, and Pulsar RS200. I also talk about USD forks vs telescopic forks.

Definitely a positive move from Hero after a long time. They will soon introduce additional high-end bikes, and the Xpulse will have 400 cc.

I think Hero is moving in the right direction to tap the premium segment where they always lacked.We always saw half hearted attempt from Hero in the premium segment and Xtreme 200s was the last example of that..But now it seems things have changed..Xpulse,Xtreme4v,HD 440 and now Karizma..This is what we expect from the no1 brand.

The funny thing is we are in love with the track focus technologies but we have barely the accessibility to go to a track i.e maximum of us do not go there at all. So its funny to listen track track all time for usd forks, tyres or aluminium swingarm and all 😂😂

Usually track based tech is used to give stability through straights and corners, and have user aids such as quickshifter and many others which are used to give convenience to the rider. Why is it such a bad thing? Expensive maybe?

Tbh you will get bored riding a 200 cc bike on track, I once took rc390 in Bic it became really boring after couple of laps the need for power is real there

@@axel3895 obviously in good roads even 150 kmph feels like 60 kmph. So in track atleast 600cc needed to really enjoy it.

HERO have hit bullseye with ZMR reincarnation even better the prequel version of Legendary Karizma R/ZMR with first in-house of DOHC, Liquid cooled, 6 gears, dual channel abs and it's a sports tourer, Xpulse need a same updated 210 detuned engine with 25+ps.

Hero is devided our company in three sections 1. Sports bike 2. Daily commute bike 3. Touring bike, and give equally effort in all section then will hero go to boom in market because strategy is everything 👍

hero seems to not have considered aerodynamics in designing mirrors for the bike. if you notice, at high speed left mirror position got changed due to wind forces and Dino adjusted back mirror at 12:29.

..wind screen adjustment is Only around 1 inch which is ridiculous, if they had to give it then they should have given it with atleast 4 to 6 inch of adjustment space !!! 😥😥

Hero engine is always reliable as evidenced by Splendour and Xpulse, it always lacked in power, which seems to have been fixed on this bike.

It gets DLC coated pistons and finger follower valve train, almost like a litre class bike. Tech is top notch and so is quality.

Enhance the silencer's size and make it bolder in its nature. 4. Bigger TFT Console with lesser bezels 5. Tank Capacity only 11L rather than 15.3Lit 6. Lesser Engine Capacity 7. RTR200 is a good bike with decent pull and power. This will not be a upgrade for you bro. And one thing RTR200 is time tested and this Karizma is new and most importantly a liquid cooled engine which will have its own niggles as its from Hero. Thats one reason i dropped buying Xpulse 200T after watching horrendous youtube reviews of Xpulse issues. And finally R15, NS/RS, Duke/RCis there in market for several years and this Karizma have to beat them in terms of reliability which i suppose will take some years.

Is it completely a new in-house mill, or is it sourced from elsewhere and does it still have that smooth gearbox found on the decade old karizma and unicorn? I understand there's the slipper clutch offered, but the old karizma engine had a nice gear change feel

You are right on the USD forks, majority of people want a bike that looks good,comfortable to ride,has ample pillion seat space and is cheap to maintain Most people don't care about led,USD forks,monoshock suspension and fully digital meter with many other impractical features which are not necessary at all for daily commute around the city.and damn how pathetic and ugly the digital meters look yuck completely takes away the beautiful visual experience that analog meter gives but all bike reviewers are @******* they keep shoving down the throats voicing unnecessary features,the wind shield adjustment feature is a useless feature but majority reviewers love it,paid or script given I don't know but our country needs genuine bike reviewers that are the true voice of majority Indians not for people who are living a privileged and luxurious life who have time for mindless long rides and unnecessary speeding
