The inquisitor turned away from auspex and hololith, monitoring the raging battle above. He turned back to the shrine behind him as various priests of the ecclesiarchy hurried about preparing the shrine to the saint for the summoning. His attention was distracted as a marine chaplain of the Raven Guard strode forward to give the rites. Normally they would use a high ecclesiarch for the role, but everyone with the title was now dead in the ruins above. The inquisitor stepped forward to watch from a better vantage point. Victory lay in the success of this ritual. The saint was the only being who could save this planet now. With a bright flash of warp energy the room dimmed and all electronics flickered and nearly died, many bursting in flames. When the smoke and bright lights dissipated, the inquisitor saw a lone well muscular man standing naked in the center of the shrine. He looked around confused and flinched back as priests rushed forward and attempted to dress him in a uniform custom-tailored to match his old one before his death. As he finally gave in he looked up and saw the inquisitor. With a frown, he spoke, "Where am I?" The inquisitor bowed slightly, "You are on Waylan. I'm sorry to summon you under these circumstances, but we are in desperate need of your help if we hope to survive the green horde above." The saint looked up at the high ceiling above the inquisitor's back, "What do you mean summon? I should be dead!" "You should be, but due to the Emperor's benevolence, we have been able to resurrect you in time to hopefully turn the tide." Inquisitor replied as he turned to a tech priest and took a bundle from his arms. "You may want these." He added, shoving the battered chain sword and ancient las pistol into saint's arms. "You have got to be fracking pulling my leg!!!" Saint Commissar Ciaphas Cain exclaimed with great frustration.

Fun fact: Jurgen is be the ONLY person in the entire Imperium that Cain trusts absolutely. Even when they just started Jurgen followed orders when "scouting different location" when main position was under attack by Tyranids only to run into a powerful flanking force led by a Hive Tyrant. When their vehicle was disabled Cain went back for Jurgen when he called for help and he earned Jurgen's eternal loyalty, while calling an artillery attack on the Tyrant while being in the blast zone himself (he went for Jurgen because they were both in view of the other guardsmen and he didn't want to try his luck if they saw him abandoning their brother in arms). Also, Jurgen might not be the smartest person around but he is very perceptive and cunning, when he noticed a traitor quartermaster solely due to the fact that his papers were actually in order and there was no problem. He's also one of the coolest and calmest guardsman around, perfectly fine with vaporizing anything the commissar points at with his melta, from necrons to tau and Khornate traitor marines, (most of the time) and offering Cain tea right after (even right after the battle was over, mostly because after Perlia, where Cain tried to get some tea the whole book, he always has a flask ready to go) Also also, Cain himself disliked his "Liberation of Perlia" movie due to many reasons but one of them was that they removed Jurgen. When you say Cain you say Jurgen (vast majority of time)
