I bought a discounted copy of HQ specifically to try these tutorials. I got the Mythic tier when it came out, just when I was starting to paint. They’re bad. I’ve painted the heroes, the abominations, and now the zombies using this series, and it’s the happiest I’ve ever been with my painting. Thank you so much for putting these out!

Just finished painting the Zombies to complete Return of the Witch Lord! They look cool! Love my purple one. So time to take a deep breath a paint my next box- the mythic tier. Just asked my partner which of minis I should do first, showing her her options! Thought about it for a second and told me 'she really likes those female Zombies' 😆 OK then. More Zombies to paint!! 😂

I was going to comment on colour choice but then I saw the variations at the end so, you know, you are flexible. That said these are pretty good jobs and would sit well on the board.

Haha thanks for sticking it through! Simply changing the undertone can give huge variety and keep the speed up when you have a horde. Or you can go whole hog and make them all different and wild 😜

Cool technic! Going to try this, but with Druchii Violet shade and Pallid Wych Flesh as highlights. Aaand no denim-pants on my fantasy zombies ;D Just good old leather pants.

I mean leather pants seem awful hot? Everything i know about leather pants was from that one episode of friends however so what do i know. I would assume they would have cloth pants even if it wasnt denim. Woolen pants from all them sheep etc

Thanks! I use a citadel synthetic small layer brush, and an army painter insane detail brush that's way past its prime.
