A very powerful story with two amazing individuals, Kendal for overcoming so much adversity and Brendan for selflessly going out of his way to help save her. I'll also add that, having been to both Utah and Australia, I can say there's definitely a bit of a temperature difference.

Back in 1985, I was skiing with a bunch of friends in Crested Butte. Well they were skiing and I was snow plowing. I came across a little girl laying down at the top of a crevice, yelling for help, and so I snow plowed over to see what she was screaming about. She was holding on to her big sister who had skied down into it by mistake. No warning markers to be seen. I kicked off my skis, got anchored, grabbed the girl's hand and sent her flying about 10' behind me, up in the clear. I thought she weighed about 100 lbs but it was really only about 50 lbs. The big coat and stuff faked me out. So I got them all calmed down (mostly) and skied on down to the bottom of the mountain with them since they were so shaken up. When we got to the bottom, the girl's father ran out and punched me for being some perv who was following his daughters down the slope. He knocked the crap out of me, but they got him calmed down and he finally apologized. My group was at dinner later and the little girls' whole family came in to the restaurant. They had tracked me down. They spent about 20 minutes telling me about how much their daughters meant to them while the mom sat there holding my hand with tears in her eyes. When you help someone, you think about what it means to that person. But you never really think about what it means to everybody who loves them. Although it's a double edged sword. While it made me feel even better about helping her, I spent a lot of time thinking about how many people would have been in hell if the little girl had been lost. It sort of makes you scared to not help someone in need.

6:30 evening news on channel 2 Monday thru Friday EST they end with stories just like these. ( Steve Hartman) With all the negative news, channel 2 ends with inspirational, love and kindness acts of humanity. A few times I shead a tear but man does it make you feel terrific. I had did a few good deeds since I was a child and still do when ever given the chance. It comes from my heart. I believe angels walk among us. In order to prove to others there are angels on earth You have to walk the walk. I am 60 going going on 40. The big man upstairs has been good me. One thing people will never forget is how you made them feel. Love and kindness doesn’t have to be said but showed.

I did it as best I could with my busy schedule this week! We went to an open house at my school for the parents and my mom took me because my high school is pretty confusing, and while I was there a woman walked up to me and asked me if I was a student. I replied yes and she asked me where a specific building was and I helped her find it even though I didn't even want to be there. Another woman also came up to me asking where the same building is and I helped her out as well and hopefully I helped make their day better! Thank you RA for being such an inspiration for me! Quick side note: RA you have also helped me be a more genuinely kind person and every day I am super nice and thankful to my bus driver who has to deal with a bunch of highschoolers in a super hot and sweaty bus every day.
