Whether it's an elderly person who spreads good will or a military family in need there will be a Random Act that fits perfectly. I'm just wondering why you don't have Random Acts boxes of tissues. How long will it take to makeover our back yard? Contractor: After we source the materials, run the permits, hire subcontractors and decide on a start date we can have this done in no less than a month from start to finish. Random Acts: We'll have it done in 2 days and we're a non-profit so we won't charge extra. As a matter of fact we'll do it for free.

OMG this is amazing!! If you came to Fort Hood, Texas to my home you would flip out! My husband has been AD for over 19 years and has never had anything done for him. We bought this house sight unseen and 5 days before we were due to come and see it for the first time on the final walkthrough the DOD issued a stay in place 3/13/2020. We couldn’t actually come so we had to do a mail away. It was the beginning of our nightmare’s. We couldn’t move until the mid/late July. By the time we got here the weeds had taken over. The back yard was nothing but weeds. We struggled paying rent/utilities plus a mortgage and utilities for several month’s to come to a house that was in a wreck. My husband fought and fought with the backyard. He tilled the yard to prepare for sod or seed. Then just as he finished he received the worst news ever, His Mother passed away unexpectedly from Covid 10/04/2020. Upon returning back home it was too late to worry with trying to fix the yard. So he decided to give it a go on this terrible fence. The first of February 2021 we had a pallet of cedar picket’s delivered. To only get hit with Snovid! We spent 6 days in the house with no electricity and over 2 weeks with no water. We have babies 🐶🐩 and couldn’t locate the shot records so we couldn’t go to an hotel. Every time he started to fix sections of the fence work came up. It’s expected as a 1SG. Then in December 2021 he deployed and dreaded leaving me here to deal with a backyard of weeds and rocks. I have called so many companies out to try and get quotes and the amount they want is a brand new car. Some say we have 7500sqft of yard and the yard has to be completely scraped. Now my husband constantly asks about the babies and especially my 10 year old son’s Standard Poodle Freddy. (My husband says Freddy is his 🤣) I have to keep him completely shaved because I never knew the amount of hitch hikers Texas has. I bet I have ever single one in my backyard! Between my 2 Spoo’s and 2 small babies I spend 3-4 hours daily picking thorns from them. My son won’t even play on his trampoline anymore because the thorns hurt so much. My husband just called me today and said, “Do I need to win the Lottery just to get rid of weeds and have grass in Texas? This is crazy!! What kind of life is my family living?” He feels so badly that he left us like this. I told him, “We will make it through as long as you make it home safely to us!” So when I see different people doing even the smallest things for other’s it really touches my heart. Something that some take for granted other’s are only dreaming to have.
