You know, isn't it weird how religious the Hero character is? When he said, "The Goddess of Victory favors the handsome." for the first time, I thought it was just him blowing hot air and calling the opponent ugly but this man actually has lines like, "Has the Goddess left me?" which means either he bought him into his idea of a Goddess of Victory being a thing, or that there's a group of people who legitimately worship a Goddess and the hero character follows that sect.
