Hero Vida V1 Pro Performance Review after 23000 KM.

I purchased a Vida V1 Pro in January 2023 and have driven it for 24,700 kilometers as on dated. I strongly advise against buying this vehicle. The term "death machine" is appropriate because it has a significant issue with limp mode, causing it to suddenly stop while riding, posing a risk of a major accident, especially if a large vehicle is behind you. The service center has been unable to resolve this problem, so I recommend avoiding this flawed machine. Please pin this message.

I have Hero Vida electric scooter. Very bad scooter, even two days after service, the scooter does not work. At times the scooter does not turn on, sometimes scooter STOP in the middle of the road, despite having full charge on the auxiliary battery and main battery. Even after taking it to the service center, they could not fix it. It is better to buy a petrol scooter than to buy an electric scooter with that much money. This scooter suddenly stops the motor in the middle of the road and gets stuck (due to LIMP HOME MODE being activated), at that time if a car behind is speeding, it will hit you and you will have a big accident which is very dangerous. The switch quality of this scooter is very bad. There are many problems with the software. By going to the service center you will know how many times a customer has to take the scooter to the service center in a month. A customer I know has taken his scooter 12-14 times in 4 months and still his scooter is not fixed. Not only my scooter every Hero Vida customer is facing the same problem. Please do not buy this scooter.

I have this since 9 months run 7300km. Rear brake is weak. Already changed rear brake shoes once. During raini season both side switches hangs if water goes in bcz if rear brake issue twice slipped n tilted. Immidiately msg comes on mobile. (SOS) Speed is very good. Battery is very good. Rear brake issue is there in Ather too. Despite disc brake brake shoe goes in Ather too. Even if you keep on standby mode for 2-3 days. Battery will not get discharge even by 1%, i normally ride by RIDE mode only

I am from Kerala, Vida 1+ only issue since mid May 2024 purchase has been, the auxiliary battery. It does not start up if the vehichle is parked for more that 24 hours. That too the vehicle should have run for 15-20 kms before the 24 hour parking. The auxiliary battery goes dead. When connected to charge the green indicator lights in the charger, lights up after the auxiliary battery is fully done, then tge main battery starts charging
