So I pulled the chase Captain America in sealed. Bought two cases to make sure I got Falcon to get this equipment.

It is pretty good equipment. Being able to keep Redwing around is worth it.

This doesn’t answer the question however of what happens if you can’t get to the light item after redwing gets destroyed before someone else does… like, can you still activate the 2nd free action to make that item disappear to bring out a new redwing? Do you have to go and grab it yourself to activate this? What if someone picks it up and uses it in an attack? Is the item itself destroyed like usual items? And if so, can you never use the 2nd free action. And reactivate redwing? We need more specifics here…

Thanks for the comment. Here is what the Redwing equipment effect states: FREE: Once per game, generate a Redwing bystander. // FREE: Remove a Redwing Light Object held by this character from the game. If you do, this turn, this character may activate the FREE action to generate the Redwing Bystander regardless of the "Once per game" restriction. You cannot generate another Redwing Bystander unless you have the equipment equipped, are holding the Redwing light object and then take the Free action to remove it from the game. The light object is a light object. It can be picked up by anyone, it can be used in an object attack and destroyed. In play, I think some people are getting confused because they use the Redwing Equipment to represent the Redwing Bystander and the Redwing Light Object. These are three different things. If it is confusing, I suggest using the items like shown in the video, Equipment goes on the card like any other equipment, Redwing Bystander is represented on the map by something other than the equipment, Redwing Light Object is represented by a separate specific light object token. Hope that clears things up for you.

@@TucsonTabletopGaming oh i see... so its basically saying you get 2 uses of this thing at your disposal if you remove the equipment from the game and after you lose redwing a 2nd time, thats it. yea i had a little confusion there this makes sense now. thank you! honestly i ended up buying falcon just so i can get my hands on this little guy xD

@@honnorgaurd Almost. The equipment goes on your card. The bystander has: 'DON'T TOUCH REDWING: When Redwing is KO'd, generate a Redwing Light Object in the same square it last occupied.' So each time the bystander is KO'd a light object is generated, the equipped figure can pick up the object and generate a new bystander...this can repeat.

@@TucsonTabletopGaming oh ok. but if the equipped figure cant pick up that object because someone used and destroyed it, their last option is to use their equipment itself to generate redwing for one last time right?
@TucsonTabletopGaming2 жыл бұрын
@@honnorgaurd Incorrect. Equipped character must remove the redwing light object they are holding in order to use the Redwing Equipment an additional time to generate a Redwing Bystander.
