My Larfleeze used his Orange Ring to steal an Alchemical Potion, then a Exospex and finally a Utility Belt. Once he got one he became an avalanche of broken! My poor opponent ended up quitting the game...

Big Lantern fan here. I can't wait to start playing them again with all the constructs! I have to differ with you on John Stewart though. The sculpt may be from a book, but he looks like he's taking a direct blast. I don't like it. I will just put a ring on my JLU John Stewart. Thank you for the reviews.

Lots of good figs. Awesome sculpts here. Though I'm looking forward to using the CUR of this set more than anything else. If I can ever get the orange lantern stuff to go with my Larfleeze, I might change my mind. Though currently, I think I want Cyborg most.

The Batman Prime with the Utility belt is amazing. You got have you generate the free smoke from the belt and then roll to change the power you get, the very next dial is plasticity so you have have potentially up to 12 squares of smoke that your opponent has to break away from on a roll of 6. Its so good!!!!

Unfortunately it doesn't quite work that way. When you take the FREE to roll and spin the belt you can use that effect till your next turn. Which mean as soon as your next turn starts you can't use the effect anymore. But he can still use smoke cloud normally and 1 for free so he can cover 7 squares while he has plasticity still.

@@HeroclixHeadquarters You should be able to use the smoke grenades as free, and then roll the D6 as free on the utility belt to move to plasticity. If you use smoke cloud after that, you should be able to lock characters down with 12 smoke markers.

Larfleeze is so dependent on if your opponents run equipment or not. He’s still good, but he’s not worth the points. Maybe at 150/75

I think Wonder Woman is a great prime. She's a lot of points and takes a prime slot, however, she has so much utility with the Ring and Belt. I think she will creep u pin usage as well.

Definitely, a friend of mine just got 2nd at our win a Brick tournament with her on a batman family team with catwomans team up card giving them all wildcard ta to copy her ww ta.

Just wondering if your opinion on indigo 1 has changed now that we know of the new support. I personally think she’s one of the best lanterns we’ve gotten. Also Fatality is great. Really the only ones I don’t like is John. I’ve still not heard of an errata for him.

She's definitely better. I feel like she's changed from a character you could just ignore to one you will want to deal with first or else she will keep healing up the whole team.

So, would larfleezes trait of opposing characters not being able to breakaway for free work on things like flight or hypersonic as examples, as they allow you to run by/through characters without stopping, thinking about running him with WOTR rocket to tie people up when they run within 4 squares and line of sight of rocket, but if flight and hypersonic work regardless of his trait then ill stop thinking about it

No, those characters don't have to stop moving when they become adjacent to opposing characters, which has nothing to do with breakaway since they still have to breakaway normally. I think his trait is more in reference to characters that have improved movement characters since they ignore breakaway.

So does larfreeze make ranged figures roll a break wlaway from his range or how does his plasticity work?

No, he just has regular plasticity. The other part says that opposing characters within range can't automatically break away, but he isn't actually locking them down himself. It just stops them from using some effect to automatically break away.

Now that all my favorite rarities are covered it goes my top 3 commons are set Raven set Robin and set Starfire my top 3 uncommons elasti-girl red raven jinx/joker the mystics giving is dope for rares deathstroke beast boy prime red x supers cyborg wonder women prime and normal wonder womon but I actually like most of the set just not the biggest lantern fan outside violet core

Keywords do not grant powers, she would need to have the actual cosmic energy team ability that grants willpower.

​@HeroclixHeadquarters I have almost all the lantern rings and alot of constructs for all of them as well as majority of these figures including the legacy hal and sinistro and yellow lantern scarecrow, any advice for a great team build for my first roc l tourney coming up soon? 😊

@naiselisor590 Yeah of course, first of all, just have fun! If it's your first big tournament, the competition will be fierce, so make sure you enjoy yourself and try to learn all you can for the next one! As far as actual team advice, there is a lot of good stuff right now, and the actual pool of modern figures is the biggest it's ever been (since they are delaying rotation until after worlds this year) but your off to a good start! All of the rings and constructs are really good. Green, Blue, and Yellow tend to see the most play competitively, as well as Violet and Indigo for certain strategies. Saint walker is a great supporting figure with the blue ring. But you definitely want to watch out for things like carnage silver surfer, sakarrian iron man, prime spider-man or prime hulk. All of witch are top tier attackers that you'll see a lot of. I'd recommend trying them out if you have them. If you want to stick with lanterns though there's a lot of good ones in wonder woman 80th like ch'p, teen lantern, green lantern, and the chases. You could probably throw them together to make a decent Herald theme team. But I would also note that theme teams are not as good as they used to be so I wouldn't worry to much about that lol. Anyway, hope that helps somewhat!
