The RETRO GAMING REWIND is a series where we play Amiga, PS1, PS2 and PC games from the late 80ies to the early 2000's, on REAL soft- and hardware.
Today we're playing the the predecessor to Heroes of Might and Magic (1995), KING'S BOUNTY, which released in 1990. More simple and primitive, yet still a fun game up to this day.
The USB-Drive that I'm using to read the games is called a GoDRivE 1200, and it can be used in conjunction with a REAL floppy disk drive. There's a switch on top, that switches back and forth between each being active.
The music during the video is from the SNES version of Eye of the Beholder.

Nice A500 you got there, Dan. I see it has a newly produced case and keycaps but I am curious about the rest of the machine ... motherboard, kickstart version etc, accelerator card?

The Amiga 500 isn't very modified, I wanted to have an experience somewhat close to the original. It's running Kickstart 1.3, 2mb ram upgrade and I think a cf card adapter. Also a GoDrive 1200 that runs along a real floppy disk drive. You can easily switch back and forth between them.
