Reroll any -1 means exactly that, you reroll them all, even if it is on a reroll. That's is implied in "any" compared to "reroll any -1 once" or "the first -1 once". Also secondary heroes cannot gain experience. Ravin levelled up once after a combat (around 22:05) with secondary hero, which should not have happened. Defence cards must be played before the attack roll as well (44:30). Looking very much forward to see your next HOMM3 session.

Most of the games we played you don't get to re roll a re roll that is why we thought that. I thought they cant gain experience meant they do not have there own level card but they can gain exp for main. We have to play Runescape next but really looking forward to playing again soon. Been working on Tower stuff, may also try out adventure or Skirmish mode

Hey there, it's me, rules lawyer here again :D 11:57 - you can only play a spell when your unit activates, not he opponent's unit (same as in video game) 19:33 - in this game you can reroll a reroll, so minotaur would have rerolled that -1 22:06 - Secondary Heroes don't get XP 28:30 - Specialization card is not a spell, so knowledge won't work 44:45 - the card may be played before the die roll, not after Great video! If the spell is instant you can play it on an opponent activation though.

Nice was look forward to seeing the continuation of this game and the nicely painted miniatures. Since we are all learning the game people will have to correct me if I’m wrong but at 11:51 it’s the Halfling’s turn so you can’t use a spell with the arrow symbol (like Magic Arrow) since the arrow symbol (or the circular Ongoing symbol) means you can only use it when you activate one of your own units.

Yes you are right till about up to 35 mins in there was some missed rules (it was filmed before we found some more stuff out) like rules for MP and how the resources and astro phase work

Awesome. I enjoyed ep2. Minis and of course the trees are great - where did you get trees? Q on the game: isn't resurrection working only for living creatures, while undead have animate dead? I notice you resurrected wraiths

That is a good point. Checked the card says nothing about living or undead and I did not see a animate spell... The trees I made from scatter trees from Michaels craft store. Glued them to a 28mm or 32mm base than put texture paint and flock on them. In the video description there is a link for the Etsy stores we use for 3d printed stuff

is it possible to paint pre-shaded figures without losing shades? :) Or still need some preparation

@@pastuh If they are just primmed grey/white with a shade of nuln oil/blash wash if you paint over them you will lose the shade unless you avoid the recesses which would be a pain... You could repaint and just wash them again with a black wash like nuln oil or whatever you want to use
