Nightmare should be s tier. 16 initiatives combine with gating and 9 speed with really good ability (and if you take the hero who give vampiric aura to nightmare) is insane. Hydra with that 8 initiatives is mostly useless in comparison. Soldier luck is also great with fear.

I’m not sure if it should be S tier but yes nightmare has actually always impressed me with how good it actually is. I don’t remember it having gating though but I also don’t use inferno much. Def still a good creature but some other tier 5’s def outshine it

Try nightmare with the hero ash (I am playing version 5.68d). I promise you'll change your mind about nightmare 😂. But even without ash... nightmare with gating change everything.

I always thought the auras on the nightmares were put on the wrong upgraded versions, why is the damage aura on the not on fire one, and why is the fear aura on the fire one? Love hydras though, love the tankiness and regen combined with the aoe damage they can dish out. Djinns are by far my least favorite, just never really enjoyed using them. Other units just make the glass cannon archetype work better imo.

Ya I’m not sure, was never a huge fan of the nightmares anyway. Hydras have always been a fav of mine but dungeon is just so bad compared to other towns because of the lack of creature growth that I don’t get to play with them much. Djinns are alright but man they are just so weak it’s unfortunate. The chieftains and the rune mages are def some of my favs too, both are so strong. Everyone else is just kind of mid to me, not really a carry or big game changers.

Yeah, tier 5 was never really my favourite tier for creatures. Most of them to me are just kinda mid as well. I just enjoy hydras and kinda like nightmares since I just like inferno in general.@@MutantBray

Nightmares and Hell Stalions should be Either S or high A because of Initiative. Hell Stalion also has a nice special of aoe dmg. Funny thing is I agree with chieftain at S but because of entirely different reasons than you. They bring aura of Initiative and just because of that they are easily S tier. Their dmg isn't special but they can hit and can take one too. The other ones I would put at low B at best, orcs already have good damaging units so executioners aren't that needed. Ouch Deep Hydra should be high B. They just don't do enough dmg something that Dungeon desperately needs. Sure they are survivable but that isn't going to cut it if they can't kill anything. And they are too slow. Acid and unupgraded hydra are probably D, worst tier 5 units in the game. Master Lich should be S only if your hero doesn't have Raise dead or you were unlucky to get that in your mage guild, otherwise I agree with their placement. One thing that you should have mentioned is that one of the reasons why Liches as as lackluster as you believe is that they are a large unit. For a mid tier shooter unit that doesn't grow at high numbers per week that is devastating. The only other two large shooting units are Centaurs and Titans. Centaurs have the benefit of high growth and Titans have great survivability so for them being large isn't a problem, but for Lich it's a HUGE downside. Priest I would put at D, they just aren't good. Bad Dmg, not that great hp and no spells, the only thing they are good is upgrading them to Cavaliers. Inquisitor and Zealot should be Solid B. The dmg is still atrocious but they are tanky and can cast good spells. Inquisitor is slightly better than Zealot but both have a role in the army unlike Priests. Genies I would put also at D, Master ones at C and Viziers at high B. Viziers are great, they are immune to lightning spells and have 75% magic immunity. Also 50 hp is finally not totally atrocious as their brethren and Wheel of fortune is great ability. You still don't want to send them on the front lines but as Rakshasa as I said in other comment they can be great at protecting your shooters and casting unluck on enemy shooters. Unicorns are fine, I would only swap Pristine Unicorns in A instead of Silver ones, solely because as Sylvan you will almost always have Light Magic. Rune Priests no comment, you said everything, great units.
