Why? I think even if many people call Heroes 4 shit, they agree that it's music is best. Just look at views on yt with soundtrack from 4, and then from 1,2,3,5,6. 4 have largest views even 3x times more than 3, which is called best heroes game.

My only big issue with 4 was that they destroyed the old world right after the player saves the world in Might and Magic 8. One of the artifacts that are supposed to bring about the end of the world I didn't even know about it's games until it happened. Them BAM that world I liked? Gone. Other then that the game it self and the music was great.

@@РомаНескажу-в5я ностальгия это- хорошо, правда, не всегда. Иногда хочется, забыть все о Героях и открывать их волшебный мир заново. Я отчётливо помню свою первую карту... Я тогда особо не понимал что делать, меня спокойно уничтожил вражеский герой. Хотя, карту для начала я выбрал неудачную. Но все равно, хочется иногда заново постигать азы игры, а не учить фишки и совершенствовать навыки.

Но, увы, я на максимальной сложности без сохранений любую карту прохожу...а мой младший брат в этом плане совсем ппц) добавляет кучу шахт с разными ресурсами врагу, но всё равно побеждает

Сколько бы не хейтили многие эту игру, но лучшие саундтреки в серии наложенные на отличное повествование передавали невероятную атмосферу. Эта часть вызвала больше эмоций, чем любая другая, хотя обожаю также 2,3 и 5 части. С 6 части пошел какой-то шлак. Ну а первая часть сейчас слишком тяжело заходит ввиду своей слабой наполненности.

I disliked it because it's a really awesome song that should have had better quality given to it. The max quality is 240p which is just way too mediocre, but especially for such a nice and inspirational piece of music with many historical motif's and renditions.

This game is the best homm sadly they will never do an other like that... What I miss from this one is the fog of war, level up, battle system, Sometime a range units could hit like 1/8 if you were really far and protect by trees... Why did this one had to die...

Sadly not gameplaywise thats why Im sticking with the 3d and others with the second. But you are right though storywise and musically the 4th had it right. The fifth did some nice things to, and the sixt has also so much good music. 4th game has the best music, its almost impossible to argue against that, its so vivid, filled with emotions and makes you just happy/dreamy. I love how the folky pagan tunes just took over in this game! I might not play it anymoore but I am listening to it!

@Mac15001900 Music is nice. The game itsef - it was just not what people expected. People played HOMM and liked it. When they got HOMM II, it was an upgrade and expansion of HOMM's ideas and mechanics. People liked it even more. When they got HOMM III it was an even better upgrade and expansion of HOMM II's ideas and mechanics. People loved it! When they got HOMM IV, they felt like they were cheated. A lot was changed, a lot was removed. This was another, different game...

I discovered that soundtrack from Heroes IV is mostly just a compilation of irish motives (that's why they sometimes appear in other games and movies). What I want to know is what these motives are called, 'cause there must be other versions (and want to know where to look). So if anyone can help me, please respond. Thanks in advance.
