Hi Andrew and happy holidays to you. Great to see HoN videos again. I haven’t seen Kelly’s Heroes yet. But I have picked up a copy and I have it on my to do list over the holidays, besides playing HoN 😁I really like these interpretations of battles from the movies. I am working on the battle of Ramelle from Saving Private Ryan. A person from the DPG discord server had done a version of this. I am going to tweak it a bit and add some more 101st Airborne troops( I am a huge fan of them) Otherwise the US side will get stomped because the Germans have a huge advantage in points, not to mention the two Tiger tanks…

It's made me realise what a rich mine of scenarios are out there in excellent war movies. Ramelle sounds like a great scenario and I'd love to hear how you get on with it. Balance, as you say is a bit of a problem, especially when the German heavies come out to play!

Also kinda disappointed in devil pig going bust. The heroes system is just a good time for light tactical war gaming. Thanks for posting this replay, more gamers should see this as a DIY game set. Convert your old squad leader scenarios or like you did find a movie or tv episode to base it on.

That is an excellent idea, and interestingly enough one of the people who recommended I do a Kelly's Heroes mission also told me he was trawling his 'Panzer Grenadier' scenario books for more ideas.:)

I got lucky on the Pacific Kickstarter, Paypal pulled my bacon out of the fire on that one. However, its extremely sad that the Pacific is not going to happen now. Having said that, the game is a tremendously super fantastic one, immensely fun and so easy to get into. I was soooo fortunate to scoop up all the British expansions for Caen, most of the War Stories (which took over for the Gazettes), and most of the other bits from the previous Kickstarter campaign. I'd love to get the Blue & Gray and the Black Baron, as well as the two War Stories that were due for Heroes of Stalingrad. Tremendously sad about the fate of DPG. ☹️ I can only hope Yann & Clem and this wonderful game resurface somewhere down the road. It's such a great game, it'd be a downright shame to see it end like this.

Fantastic that you didn't get burned over the Pacific material, Rob. I was given a reprieve by Paypal, but when I received the follow-up request I made a second payment. Tactical error in hindsight 😅. I still only own the original HoN and Stalingrad, but two of my friends have loaned me pretty much everything else -they're permanent residents in my home! My feeling is generally hopeful about the future of the HoN series. Many of us are still very loyal adherents of the game despite what's happened, and if that critical mass keeps things going then hopefully another company will take the series on. I'll cross my fingers and keep playing it in the meantime.

Sorry to hear of your Kickstarter experience, I very nearly did the same thing after the initial refund from PayPal, and only just narrowly avoided, by the slimmest margins, resending the pledge. More luck of circumstances on my part than anything else. I feel bad for everyone who wasn't so fortunate.

No of course i haven't got everything,, do u realise how well supported this game's are ??? , list, cards , FFi , paratrooper and comando options for the card army's , ect oh and the cathulu options of , say so u can cathulu the Russian, German English FFi American xxx army cards , try getting the Stalingrad battle terrain box and the Russian front war stories , there's too much , ps I'll give u a heads up on any doubles i aquire , allowed aright , V

Maybe they don't, Brian, but I think you're right that they're still playing. I meant to check and see whether they have made any announcements/public appearances since recent events. I'll have a look today.
