What another informative and inspirational video for this game! I'm late to the show, but again I find myself really drawn in by this video! I've got quite a lot of the very original bits of this series, and just recently picked up the Big Red One edition and a couple of the newer expansions. Your video makes me want to buy this Stalingrad edition as well! Great video!

11:47 (important clarification) Not every enemy “unit”. Enemy vehicles can't prevent you from claiming objective, only enemy's infantry.

@@HissyCat Well, I can't comment on the solo mode but I have looked at a short intro from Devil Pig. It looks a bit too involved with tons of new stuff to manage . I prefer speed over complexity but I'm sure many will take to it. As for Pacific, it just has to happen surely. I hope so!😊

Brun! Hi there! Great to hear from you 😍 I'm very well thanks, hope you are too. Yes, a pity about the Blues. I managed to get to 4 or 5 games this season and its been a roller coaster ride! The huge mistake was the Rooney appointment of course, and we never recovered from it. But we are now where we deserve to be. We can part ways with some dead wood and spend on the positions we need. And hopefully Tony Mowbray will be back from sick leave and can lead us through a really exciting season and back into the Championship! Well......thats the plan anyway 😂

Now thats a really good question! I needed something to keep my mind busy and I like being creative. I then saw lot's of other youtubers making films about games and I've always loved boardgames. So I thought I'd like to try that. So I started making videos just to entertain myself really. I had no ambitions for it so I just do it to keep myself busy and for the enjoyment. Brant would be a great KZbinr! He's very creative and has lots of stories to tell. I think he should just experiment with some short video stories and upload them to his channel. He can keep them private until his confidence grows!😊👍

That artwork would work better IMO with standees or minis, but with counters and tokens, it just amplifies the awful. The system itself seems good, though. It's a conflicting thing for me lol.

Well, I do understand the artwork divides people but I think most really like it. And its a brilliant game for miniatures without doubt. The combat counters allow you that tabletop feel without the huge time and expense of collecting and painting!

@@soloboardgaming I can't paint minis worth a damn. Never have had any skill in that area, though I did spend a lot of time and money, several times, trying to master it, at least to a basic level. It does save me a bomb on mini-based games though, which is a bonus, though there are a few I'd love to get into, but I don't, as playign with unpainted minis would be depressing lol.

@@thelastmotel I used to have hundreds during my 30's. I had ECW and Seleucid armies and a full Austro-Russian army of the Napoleonic era. These days my small fixed income and my shaky hands won't allow me to do what I previously loved. I'm content however to apply myself to board gaming now and the HoN series does give me the 'feel' of old 👍
