Instead of movies i think the PJ/ HOH would do great as like a tv show. It could be accurate, properly show flashbacks, correctly show the beauty of everything and it could be split into like 2 seasons with the first being PJ, and the second being HOH. Anyone agree? PJO should be turned into a tv show, every chapter will be an episode, and every book a season. The actors will fit the characters and THEIR AGES. And, the most important part, Rick Riordan will be the powerfull person that could change everything that he wants, with noone asking why.

The Percy Jackson series and Heroes of Olympus literally changed my life. I can draw a direct line from picking up that first Percy Jackson book in elementary school, to becoming interested in mythology, then history, and now being in college to become a history teacher. I found something that I love doing all because of these books.

And so we’ve come to the end of the Camp Half Blood Chronicles. 15 years on. These books that started out as a bedtime story for Rick’s son that evolved into this Pantheon of a series. I have only liked the books for 5 years myself, but they changed something inside 11 year old me and continue to resonate in 16 year old me. Thank you, Percy, Annabeth, Grover, and all others who have made this journey. And thank you to us, the readers, for going on that journey right along side them. We may never go to the Camps. I feel you, PJO/HoO are my favorite series and they are just so amazing... I read the last book probably like a year ago, and I get sometimes so many feels that I have to watch videos like this to calm them, if that makes sense, lol. As for good books - there are always some (you can search in youtube the booktube community, they have a lot of recommendations and fun videos about books) but PJO/HoO are unique, and that's what's great about them! I remember this video from years ago, it's what introduced me to one of my favourite songs of all time. This series was spectacular. I raced through the Percy Jackson books as a young teen, and was stoked that there was another series that ended up being just as good. It just felt so real, the characters and world perfectly organic, like I was there with them. Truly captured my imagination beyond anything I'd read before (even things like Harry Potter and HIVE). listening to this song while remembering all the nights during the deepest trauma in my life as a kid when i would just hide under my covers and read percy jackson and heroes of olympus and forget that my life had been absolute hell makes me so emotional. these books got me through many hospital stays, abuse, and health problems and really gave me the best escape i could ever get. i related to so many of the characters, especially because of all the trauma they experienced on their journey. reading about these characters going literally to tartarus and back and defeating the earth goddess and still being strong gave me motivation to keep fighting. i wish i could meet all of these characters and thank them for saving me back then, and giving me hope.
