Finally got around to finishing the episode. Your descriptive story-telling is top-notch and I'm so glad Glute was able to find an intellectual contemporary towards the end there.

Thank you for watching all the way through! And yes, Glute and Plaguestopher The Rat are going to be the brains of the operation going forward, I'm sure 😆

As a wannabe DM it was so great to watch this mini-campaign! And props to your players too for making it so fun. While the quality of your DMing is so high, it feels more achievable watching pals play together than watching the big live streams with professional voice actors and big budgets etc.

That is fantastic to hear! I really wanted to keep this whole thing feeling quite natural, like it was just a home game we'd recorded, rather than a production. Hoping to keep things entertaining without it feeling like too much of a performance.

Honestly an epic mini-campaign. Just started watching the episode, so I don't have any comments, but it was so fun to see that the finale is here!

Mate, thank you! Hope the episode lived up to being the finale!

Hold person would work on a hag. Her general shape resembles that of a human. She's a bipedal creature with two arms, a torso, and a head. She is humanoid. Hold person would also work on a tiefling, goblin, dragonborn, vampire, and bearded devil, but it would NOT work on a man-scorpion because of its more arthropod shape despite a torso, head, and two arms of a humanoid being attached onto its front. Minor discrepency for an all-around amazing and well-designed adventure. lol I can definitely see all the steps you've talked about in one of your first videos with making a quest in 5 steps.

It would certainly make sense! But rules as written, the spell states that the target is a "humanoid", and humanoid is a term used consistently in D&D to refer to a class of creature (humanoid, fiend, fey, and so on) rather than being a physical descriptor, so in my games I usually rule that humanoid-targeting effects can only target humanoid-class creatures. But definitely something that other DMs could do differently!

Oh, okay. Just the way you run it. That's cool then.

@@SigilWizardClassic 100%! I kinda love the fact that each DM interprets elements of the core rules slightly differently. It's like hearing the same song played by different musicians - everyone brings a different flavor to the same material. Really glad you enjoyed the game, and I appreciate you sticking with it all the way to the end!
