And it's so nice to have shared exp and no gold so you don't need to compete with your team for resources or worry about missed income because you missed a last-hit, map objectives that are kinda mandatory (or literally mandatory) so there's less internal debate over where & when to come together for team fights, lanes that are often closer together, map variety, and unlocking all abilities at the start so there's no 15 minute "you're basically playing a solo game" phase. They basically removed half of the things that make LOL so fundamentally toxic in it's design, pushed people towards the part of the game that's JOLLY COOPERATION, and made it much less of a time investment, so you don't need to find 2 hours to play some video games despite being a busy adult with shit to do

You said it's difficult to find the right angle for banelings to hit minions effectively. All you need to do is to step right into the middle of the mob and spam your q. It will hit all of them.

Exactly, you have to be in a potentially dangerous angle (either in the wave or south of it) to do max damage. If an enemy knows this they punish you for it.

I've been playing this game for years and I often pick nydus on zag. I never knew that it buffs creep range and grant cdr on basic attacks on creep. That's a big reason I love these videos. I almost always learn something despite being a long time player. Once again, great video!!

Thanks for pointing out the trap of playing solo "because you're a siege hero". I definitely fell into that mindset sometimes. Especially because you're juggling summons, creep, and a nydus network. But also who thinks Zagara is bad? You won't get a lot of kills but she can sometimes do more hero and Siege damage than half the team combined because of all of the harassment options and % damage

Zagara is bad because she easily gets picked off by bruisers, tanks, assasins. You cant really split push because map is very small and enemies gonna easily come and kill hey, even if theres nydus on the lane you are not gonna reach it, cuz you usually place it in safe spot like near your tower or maybe at the middle of the lane and if you sieging a fort, any enemy will reach you faster than you gonna load into nydus.

@@uniguy4647 You mean "Zagara is bad if you overstay" I'll often QQWE and walk away as soon as I notice the enemy markers go away on the minimap because I know exactly where they're coming. Except for super mobile heroes like Falstad/other globals, Genji, and Zera zag 'should' always be able to do her job and get away.

Zagara is bad because the damage she puts out is slow over time damage and also random damage because it's coming from uncontrollable minions. The damage she does to heroes is not effective damage. Enemies have a ton of time to evade your minions, kill your minions, receive healing, or heal themselves to offset or negate most of your damage. All your doing at that point is reducing the enemies support mana. You aren't really changing the tide of the game which you need to do if you have want to win more games then you lose. If enemies are diligent at destroying her creep then she can barely play the game. She is also squishy and easy to lockdown.

Great video! but there's one thing you said that's definitely wrong. The experience you get from soaking a wave is equivalent to a hero kill maybe at levels 6-7. Before that specific point, hero kills are worth less than a wave of soak pre level 6 and after level 7 they progressively become worth more than a wave of soak. After level 16 a hero kill becomes seismically worth more than a wave of soak and the game's catch up mechanics really begin to shine. Just a small nit pick I wanted to mention :)

if you pick nydus (and i usualy do) think of yourself mutch like abathur you are only half a hero but you can be just abuat annyveare near-instantly. you shoud have nidus in every lane and near objektives. if you die then use one in base to get to lane quick and it'l be replaced as you put down more of them. also roatch scouting is a real neat trikk

Fun guide to look at. However dont say this should be use as a standard for competetive gameplay since you shouldnt plan normally zagara offlane. I am used to easily see a genji counterpick and thats a hard counter. Normally its for the offlane -> the more selfsustain the better. You can play like ETC, Muradin, Blaze easily in the offlane aswell when the match allows that.

man i really want to play this game again but i downloaded it and its still the fking same :( it needs more heroes, new balancing, new mechanics... and this every season or its just boring to play a moba that never changes :(((( i love whitemane and because of her gameplay i started playing that game but its soooooo boring

most most most, players playing zag do so because she is very noob friendly. And in most cases if you are a high ceiling player, zag won't give you the kits to showcase superior mechanics. In the end, MAW saves Zag from being a very low tier low IQ hero. A maw combo can end games.

She's not a phenominal hero, and doesn't fit into her positions the best, but if you're interested in her then that's the most important thing. Play what you have fun with.
