Heroes 5 made a good decision to change fortress from swamp lizard alike creatures to winter gnomes, really changed the vibe for me

Swamp wasn’t very popular to start with in heroes 3. Then in post LOTR times, dwarves had quite a lot of attentions thanks to Gimli.

Stupid dungeon dragon did not ever attack two units while smart fortress dragon did always attack two units as it could. Moreover, the dungeon units were often killed by friendly fire from the stupid allied dragon.

Stupid dungeon AI decides to leave Salamander/Magma Dragon alone till the end. (AI logic: damage is smaller if attacking high defence units, always priorities lower defence units until there are shooters, casters or flying units.)

Dungeon AI here was so dumb I cheered for them to lose even if I like dungeon better
