Magneto was right, and radical actions need to be taken that Xavier doesn't have the guts to do. But the "destroy all of humanity to save mutants" plan is completely illogical and counterproductive. Because after all, mutants don't just pop out of nowhere, they're literally born from humans without their mutations developing until around puberty. So destroying humanity is literally destroying countless potential mutants. That's why we need to get to the "Cyclops was right" middle ground in this show. We need to see him being the one true leader of the X-Men.
@Suchega_Uber5 ай бұрын
Mutants can give birth to mutants. Humans aren't necessary for the process. Sure, that's a lot of potential mutants, but you could literally say the same thing about sperm every time you masturbate, so your argument falls apart. Think about the countless mutant lives that are being destroyed when humans are allowed to exist. Magneto isn't right, and that's the fucking point. Magneto's plan is to kill all life on Earth. That's his radical action. It's just genocide. Planetary genocide, but still just genocide. You are right that wanting genocide is illogical and counterproductive, but your thought process on why is all fucked up. It's like you were doing division, got confused, did some subtraction, and got the correct number anyway. It's Marvel, it's the world outside your window. The story is meant to mirror real life conflict. Not saying there is a certain group that went through a genocide and is now committing a genocide in real life though. Also, we don't need a middle ground perspective, because several different middle ground perspectives already exist. How do you plan to inject something into the show that is already there? You gotta get your shit together and start thinking. You can just say that you like Cyclops and wish he were in charge.

@@DmDaPDm back to the point about Jean remembering Nathan's birth: she may not be physically there at the moment Storm confided in her, but she vividly remembers it down to the last bit of emotion. And as far as Auroro is concerned, she didn't know her and madelyn's deal during the meet up. So Auroro's feelings for her were real, and so were Jean's. So does it matter if she wasn't the soul present at the moment? As for the moment in the ship, if we assume they debriefed storm about what happened prior to OZT(which feels unlikely considering the team mostly follows the "act now, talk later" Policy of situation recap), in that case storm's feelings towards Jean were directed towards Jean, not madelyn.

21:26 I don't think they *need* to give an origin story for characters like the X-Men & Fantastic Four in the MCU, but I would still like one.

With clone wars and now this, time away from a beloved show and a revival helmed by people who know and love the source material.....the quality is just on another level

It wasnt super hero fatigue. It was the writing, it was basically the same story over and over and in the same kind of structure.

This show by far is the best thing that Disney has done hands down on Disney Plus. I love the Mandalorian, but damn this show is on point and true to the marvel comics that I read as a kid. I don’t know where this story is going but I hope they stick the landing.

7:50 Ngl, I acc liked the black leather costumes in the X-Men films lol. 8:05 It'll be cool to see them in more comic book accurate costumes in the MCU tho.... updated for the MCU ofc (like Lucas Werneck's fan art).

I have a feeling we are building to Avengers vs X-Men with all these cameos

I can see season 2 be about Onslaught and Age Of Apocalypse. I say AOA because certain characters need to be pulled from that timeline/earth to handle Onslaught. The cool thing about the Onslaught arc is that we could see a lot of other Marvel characters like the Avengers and The Fantastic Four if they do the arc properly.
