Cyclops has been treated like a bum by adaptations for decades. He's always stood on business in the comics, but those only familiar with the live action movies could be forgiven for thinking all he's good for is being the dull, straight edge character and simpimg for Jean. I'm glad they're finally putting respect on his name again.

Only very recently a garbage writer made Jean reciprocate in a book that has been ignored by every other story.

As they said "Omega" is defined by the strength in the powe set, not necessarily "they are the strongest period". Like, Jean Grey could still mess up Bobby mentally.

Love how Sheera said Cyclops powers sucks and immediately after, My Boy shows you why he is one of the GOATS of the team and how well he can use his powers. Also, if I remember correctly, the reason Cyclops has to where the shades for the rest of his life isn't necessarily because of his powers, it's because of the brain damage he suffered as a kid after a plane crash that separated him from his family. The permanent brain damage affected a part of his brain that would have allowed him to use his Optic Blasts whenever he wanted to.

Naseer Pasha is one of the animators on X-Men '97 and he created "Legend: A Dragon Ball Tale," the Dragon Ball fan film that went viral last year. He loves X-Men and he's doing amazing on this! He also worked on Castlevania, so X-Men '97 is in excellent hands. I couldn't be happier. The entire staff are X-Men fans. All in their 20's and 30's and it shows because you can see the love! Everyone from the Writer, Director, Storyboarders, Artists, and Animators. The storyboarders said they're pulling inspo from Marvel vs Capcom too and wanted to include Cyclops' flash kick from the games but they cut it from the first episode. But I'm hoping they bring it to later episodes because Cyclops is cutting up!💥

Give Earths Mightiest Heroes a look if you want some Young Justice level character writing and action, top 3 Marvel shows along with this and Spectacular Spiderman. Disney+ has the episodes in the wrong order though if you watch it there. Episodes 3-7 come first chronologically and then 1-2.

@@Alteronx Accident. Short answer: In production order, episodes 3-7 come first, but they were aired later and that's what Disney+ uses. Episode 1-2 on Disney+ is the team up episode that episodes 3-7 build towards. Long answer: Episodes 3-7 were first aired as a handful of mini episodes before the two part premier that are episodes 1-2 on Disney+. After that they were put together as full episodes of the show and aired after the premier. So despite being made first, the full episode versions aired later. And Disney+ uses airing date to order their episodes.

Omega's aren't defined by being the most powerful of their type, they are defined as having no upper limit on their powers. In Storm's case, being able to cause cold, rain, wind, etc are more side effects of her powers than the powers themselves. She can essentially manipulate the atmospheric and climate conditions required to produce those weather types. & there is no known person who can surpass her in weather manipulation & that’s what makes her an Omega Level threat.

no she wasn't, and neither was Magneto. They just recently (few years ago)tagged Storm and Magneto as omega level. There use to be so much debates before then as to whether she was or wasn't. Finally Hickman made it official. I think...think...Rachel Summers was the first mutant to be tagged omega level but it didn't stick until years later.

Morph is basically a way better version of Mystique. He can actually enhance his strength and muscle density via shape-shifting, make his body soft (and emulate Blob's power for example) or hard and use his limbs to emulate hard objects like wings, swords, etc. He's like Clayface from Batman.

actually Mystique can copy someone down to the cellular level. She just can't copy a mutant's xgene. Morph can't copy the x-gene either but he has superstrength, a healing factor and is extreme hard to hurt physically. Copycat is a sick metamorph. Fun fact, Gambit is an omega level mutant but if I remember right he had surgery done to limit and reduce his power and I can’t remember the reason why. Something about believing his powers could lead to the end of the world I think.

I believe he got that surgery because he couldn’t control his powers any longer. Which, I suppose, would inevitably lead to the end of the world.
