"Multiverse" keeps being used, but Multiverse is multiple universes, not timelines, Loki deals with timelines, not different universes, so is "Multiverse" being used to refer to timelines, unlike the Arrowverse where's it's used for different universes? Or could Doctor Strange 2 actually be revealing different universes as opposed to timelines like in Loki?

@@ivansoto9451 I think that Marvel is doing both. What If will explore some of the branches in the MCU timeline which is why the characters involved look like the MCU we know. And Doctor Strange 2 may deal with other universes where characters and entire storylines/origins are different.

@Ivan Soto for the quantun phisics, chaging something during a timetravel, creates another universe, equal but different from that point on. Many of these mcu timetravels and the rappresentation of the universea on top of each others takes this teories. So at the end an alternative timeline is another universe very similar to his original while there are infinite amount of universe that could be very different in time and in the law of phisic. There is a very good video on wired of a teorical phisic reacting to the mcu and explaining what could be possible. The video isn't about the Loki finale but speaks about all the mcu and the tva introduced in loki

The only thing that concerns me is that Eternals was supposed to come out before Loki and it was only cause of covid that it got pushed back. @@loveeujin I read a comment somewhere, and it's not what I think is going on but it does make me wonder. Kang went back in time to start the TVA. We don't know when, but it was in the past sometime. And since he started it when there was only one timeline, that was the sole TVA. But now there are multiple timelines with multiple Kang's. Does that mean multiple Kang's created their own TVA? Is there still only one TVA? Yeah it exists outside of time, but that doesn't mean there's only the one. For myself, the Mobius and B15 we see the moment the timeline is splitting and that Loki runs into are so different I don't think it's the same one's not just a memory wipe. But it could honestly be anything; I think the point of the ending is that all options are on the table now.

That's why He Who Remains needed her to be there. Because SHE was the only Loki who would've been vengeful enough to actually kill him. It's the only way for him to escape the Hell he's trapped himself in. Monitoring the Sacred Timeline "for all time. Always". Now he is free. Once she called him a liar, he no longer could see the future because his timeline was coming to an end. She was dead set on killing him regardless of the consequences.

Yup, Deadpook is fine cause he is already meta, but xmen should just come out of the shadows, after all the heroes appear everywhere across the earth they will think no one will attack them but they will still be treated differently, thats the whole thing with xmen after all. People expect there to be some sort of explanationn why they didnt help against thanos, but im honestly fine with them staying hidden, strange not alarming them as he didnt knew about them at the time. They can still help in the future against Kang, Doom, Sentry. And Magneto coming out, adding to Scarlet Witch pain of loosing family may be the very thing that causes her to create House of M. Then when she sees Magneto is truly evil and he just abandonned her in Sokovia to foster family - she will feel betrayed by mutants and may say - "No more mutants" just as in comics. What better to start off first xmen movie than with them being just few looking for survivors of House of M?

Um, I think that Kang lied (again) when he said he didn't know what would happen after they crossed 'The Threshold'. I mean, he sent those files to Ravonna, and very deliberately pushed his master TemPad out to the edge of his desk RIGHT WHERE SYLVIE WOULD GRAB IT. So I think he KNEW that they wouldn't choose option two and that Sylvie WOULD kill him. Also, Kang didn't "wipe their memories", this is a VARIANT TVA.

There’s only one tva it exists outside of time, all the Loki’s from different timelines ended up there. The other kang probably made his move as soon as the timeline started to branch when they were fighting and wiped all the minds in the tva

When you talk about making a STATEMENT in a season finale, that’s how you do it! With that being said, Loki’s growth through just 6 episodes was remarkable and he was able to learn that he doesn’t have to do things on his own. For the first time, he was actually trying to be the HERO by stopping Sylvie from making a mistake. On that note, ‘He Who Remains’ was so slick that I think he led them there for a reason and he was able to persuade Sylvie to unleash him and now this is a perfect setup for Multiverse of Madness and Quantumania. I have never seen Loki so terrified than he was at the very end and I’m glad he’s coming back for another season!

There’s another thing to think of with the multiverse: just like when they did those upside down camera turn shots at the beginning of episode 5...while WE (and Loki) knew that worlds were shattered behind the scenes, the people in the TVA were just going about as business as usual. So multiverse stuff won’t probably be noticed by the average person or character - they are just living their lives out. It will be us (the viewers) and only characters who have a larger view who might notice a “difference” unless some variant stuff interacts with them. If that makes sense. So we could have multiple stories about multiple characters that don’t freak the character out (because they don’t know any different - like Mobius and B-15 at the end) and only WE would be going, “Oh! Look! It’s [insert a new character from the comics here] - we wouldn’t have gotten this character in the MCU in the “normal” timeline. This is like the Comic Nerd Heaven - they could potentially get tons of different cool stories about different cool timelines without it “destroying” what we knew before. It’s a cool way to reboot everything (i.e. following other characters and not just the OG Avengers) yet still have the original as well.

clearly Loki wasn't right to full-stop believe him and Sylvie wasn't right to only want vengeance so there has to be another way to resolve everything (something something power of love and self-acceptance rather than continuing to sell yourself short / self-sabatoge (literally fighting yourself)). hope they get together for good in season 2!

Oh for sure. I'm one to believe that what sylvie did is at a point where there's no particular time. So when that happened wanda was already fucking around with the darkhold and she heard variants of her children, which will eventually lead to her trying to bring them back to her timeline, fucking shit up even further. Doctor Strange is having a field day.
