Not sure why a face customizer on minis would be such a bid deal. It's just one more thing I'll have to go back and retcon for my old designs.

@@fleetcenturion I never personally go back and update old minis- even after only slight updates I tend to rework them completely from the ground up once I think I can do a better job, but, for me personally, as someone who mostly does various human characters, the ability to customize their faces beyond the current plain options is a huge gamechanger And that's not even mentioning how many weird custom alien/Monster faces we might be able to do going forward :D

I often use the curved horn (second-in-front slot, s-shaped), as do many. It helps individualize hairstyles so much

Actually that model I used for that example was an early WIP of one of 18 different reworked Swampwalker slides, so you hit the nail on the head with that one. It was among my most popular Reddit shortstories and I felt the models there needed a revamp so I was working on it a while back, but then the project got a bit too big so I temporarily scrapped it. But I'll probably pick it back up after FC comes out

Ive personally discovered a lot of these tips regarding the feathers in helmets and hats, and horn hair just by messing around in Heroforge. The best way to learn is to just build (And to watch Derf videos)!

Masks are either a very limited or an extremely broad subject since you have both Decal masks as well as custom-shaped horn masks. And then HF's actual mask-selections + helmets, which is very broad as well. BUT, I will likely dig into things like that more once Face CUstomizer comes out as they have promised there'll be a lot more things around faces in general by then

I didn't, I just realized that I had to ctrl-z twice and fix the colours after the horns were back. So you're right, it was a brainfart on my end

It's because a lot of items cannot be stacked on top of each other on a single model, but if you put two together, all those restrictions go away, so it allows for maximum customization

My only gripe is that HF made all horns huge with their horn update...breaks a lot of pre-existing horn hairs and makes new horn hair posing difficult.
