Between the look and the accent, I feel like Kevin would make an amazing cameo in a Guy Ritchie movie. You'd see that cutter and expect some good ol ultraviolence, then the camera pans out and you see this masterpiece. What an amazing talent. Thanks for showcasing this kind of work, Peter.

This year I may now look forward to these trees progress. Capturing the ancient weathered look requires vision and patience. These sessions help us cultivate that instead of hurrying off to a finished product. Thank you all, and happy new year,

Love the channel and Peter's handling of the trees. I assume, such intense carving is not his style. It's also not my style. Interesting video, but for me it is more a curiosity then really working with the trees.

If you have pictures of some of his already established work I would love to see them. It's a bit hard to get a clear idea of what these trees will look like after they've healed. An interesting concept he's working on nonetheless.

There's a portfolio on his website, that's the best source of Mr Willson's work I was able to find. There aren't a ton of examples, but you'll get a solid idea for his style and how his trees look completed.

Completely unrelated question but hopefully Peter or anyone else can answer. I live in the southern US the Satsuma trees we have are grafted to the more cold tolerant Mock Orange root stock which grows wild in the woods here. If I grow plants from the Satsuma seeds will the plant be a Satsuma tree or a Mock Orange?

@@peterchan6212 I didn't count, I was only being facetious. His knowledge about trees "leaves" me very envious so I must poke fun. It's absolutely incredible that I got a response from you. I've been watching your videos for the better part of 5 years and have yet to have the patients necessary to successfully grow my own bonsai . I've ordered myself a Japanese maple and harvest a live oak seedling to try and test my patients again. On a side note, your comment about people being interesting opened my eyes. I tend to be quite judgmental and thinking of people as interesting gives me an entirely different perspective. Thank you for your wise words and your amazing videos.
