That bird has been in a few videos. I wonder if Peter feeds him because he does not seem to be afraid of peter at all.
@h.b.14213 жыл бұрын
@@stevenmyers2252 Peter doesn't need to feed him, because when he styles the trees and removes some of the earth to see the roots a bit better bugs and worms come out of it which the bird will pick up.

awww, I made one of these for my family this year, perhaps at the same time as this filming! It's been hard to do things as normal this year. I saw a 30 cm dwarf alberta spruce at the local grocery store, and went at it. I love the idea of putting holiday love into the same tree year after year. Its also small enough to fit higher up on a shelf so little hands can get into our tree. Bonsai has made life better at home for sure. My 15 month old son loves to visit "plants plants plants" and "tREEs!!"; they help him settle when waking up is hard, when teething pain is overwhelming, or when he has a hard fall. Thanks to everyone at Herons for helping me build the confidence to bring some magic into our home this year. Words fall short of my gratitude. Everyone stay safe and lets make 2021 a time for growth and healing!

Thank you for showing us another formal upright! I really like the style because it reminds me of the old growth trees back home in the Pacific Northwest. Also, the robin investigates the moss that you've just put on the tree because it's a disturbed environment, and disturbed environments tend to be easier to forage from. You could try scraping somewhere else un the greenhouse after you put moss on your new bonsai and see if your new activity catches the robin's attention. Still best to screen the new moss on the trees!

Lovely form coming from a master. I so wish I could take classes in person from Mr. Chan, however, these videos he provides for us are enough to get me to look at every tree as a potential bonsai ! I have tried my hand at three trees now and although I do not have the experience of Mr. Chan, I am pleased with how they turned out. I gave two of my friends my oak and maple and they love them. Thank you for taking your time and love for your craft to teach. Oh, and thank you for providing such background entertainment from your little robin. A friend in Justin, Texas, USA

Adore your work! 🥰 Merry Christmas!

@lapatossu59763 жыл бұрын
As a Finn, honestly I'm a bit annoyed that it's paid for with by taxes. Don't get me wrong, i very much appreciate Peter's work and the education he shares on this channel for free, so much so that i'd be perfectly happy to voluntarily part with some of my money to support him. But I can't find any justification why I should be forced to pay taxes so some government employees can get bonsai lessons. Regardless, merry christmas to you as well.
