Just got this recommended to me. I’m actually amazed at the number of people that come up when we’ve got maps set up at my local game store and say they recognize the game. And it’s coming back, which hopefully helps this great game get more love!

I got into this with my daughter when it first came out. We had multiples of every set and would build monstrous maps with hundreds of characters. We made our own scenarios and our games would last months. Twists and turns of all kinds.

Such a memorable game! And now we can continue building those monstrous maps and replace all the brittle pieces with new Heroscape...hopefully 🙃

I am sad there was no mention about how Finn's first attack attempt is always useless since that's when he applies the shaving cream. After that, the shaving begins which increases his overall offensive effectiveness.

HAHA!😂Well, yes, there is plenty of room for lore outside the canon of the game. And, of course, if the shaving fails, then just apply more shaving cream.

This isn't a meta tierlist by any means, but it's pretty correct according to when we were kids. Let's be honest, mimring was the reason we started playing this game.

Einar i dont think is evil or good, its just a more historic focused type. All the samurais, spartans, etc are in einar, along with maybe a few fictional characters

That makes sense! When I was younger, I liked to have symmetry with the generals (one "extreme" good and "extreme" evil and one lukewarm good and lukewarm evil, etc. But can't do that now with some of the new generals! More nuance of course 🙂
