To get impmon to join the city you need a digimon that can use a fire type move to shrink the thing so it won't be too gross for impmon. Also, if I'm correct and the same digimon are there in the first redigitize game, you can find gomamon in submerged ruins while waiting in a specific spot near 9pm (best to come there at 8pm, wait an hour and he'll come out from down below) and you have to reassure him that the city is safe

Your Metalgreymon got sick because you slept in an environment he didn't like, changes with every Digimon. If you look at their happiness bar you can see it flashing red if you are in an environment that disagrees with your Digimon. Don't need to worry about it too much, just try not to sleep in those places.

You have to click on the skill slot in the skill menu to see what skills you have available FYI (and see what skills can be learned). Skills do not automatically get added to your Digimon once learned.

2 Ways to learn new skills: 1) Fighting Digmin that have a skill that you can learn, and 2) Training the BRN stat. Check what skill types your mon can learn in the menu, and try to focus on fighting mons that seem to use those types (eg: Machine, Fire, Water, Air, etc). You'll see a new skill popup at the end of combat in the rewards menu if successful, it is very easy to miss if you skip it - so check every so often if you have any other skills to assign.

Also, I believe Seadramon can be found in submerged ruins as well but he'll fight you so win and he'll go to the city
