I was reminded of a favorite snack I ate when I was a kid - Pizza Spins. They haven't been made or sold since the mid-1970's. I'll bet the cheese ravioli potato chips would taste great with fresh ricotta to dip them in. Maybe add some parsley flakes and a little olive oil to the ricotta.

Herr’s also has the old bay seasoning chips and my husband likes them. I am not a fan of potatoes chips but will try one of those in a little while. We live in VA and are used to the old bay seasoning.

The stores sell the old bay seasoning here but we have never had it. I think the reason was the sodium content. We have never seen the chips.❤️Grandma👩🏻

Grandma, have you tried any other of this year's limited release Philly restaurant varieties? You'd probably be as intrigued by Herr's Pierogi flavor as I was. (I figured the Ravioli would be disappointing). But ShopRite was out of Pierogi when I ordered it, so they subbed the Stromboli flavor instead. I've never had a stromboli, so I'm not sure how close Herr's came with the flavor....but I wasn't too impressed. Maybe it's because I'm not generally a fan of flavored chips (Utz original or no salt are my favorites), or maybe it's because a chip inspired by a delicious, savory dish will always pale by comparison. Herr's did have one a year or two ago that WAS pretty good, though: a roast pork sandwich with broccoli rabe variety. Yes, you read that right. The limited/unusual varities are fun to try, and probably sell a lot of extra chips. I'm glad you tried the ravioli, so I don't have to! Stay cool!🥵

Hi Patricia the Pierogi flavor was the first one we did a taste test video on. We were excited to try the flavor since we make homemade Pierogi. Stay tuned for the Stromboli. We could not believe the store had all the three flavors. We usually don’t eat potato chips especially odd flavors but these got our attention. Nothing is like the real food. We hope you have been doing well in this hot humid weather. We hate to be out in the humidity. Thank goodness today is suppose to be better but it seems we will be having a week of thunderstorms. Hi Marty Rose since they are a limited edition we have not seen them in any stores now. The summer here has been hot and humid. Not enjoyable to be outside. We like the sunny less humid days to be outside. We still have a nice green lawn since we have been getting pouring rain at times. We have not had to do a lot of outside watering this summer. They are limited release, available for a short time. Herr's has been doing this at least a few years now, featuring potato chips inspired by signature dishes from three Philadelphia restaurants. If you're in the NY area, I know ShopRite carries them.

Hi folks! WOW this chip company is really trying out some interesting flavors. First pierogies and now these. I like when companies do testing like this. In Fl where I am, McDonald’s tried personal at table service with Angus burgers, the french fries came in a little french fry basket and the burger came in a metal basket with a paper liner on it. It didn’t last very long, but the burgers did taste really good. They also tried hotdogs and pizzas once before but that didn’t go over very well. Well I would say between the last taste test and this one you both have had your yearly intake worth of salt because I know you don’t use salt😊.. this was interesting, I think I like that you did this and I hope you will maybe think of doing more taste tasting with other items. Good to see you both, well half of you both 😂…. Keep enjoying summer, before you know it it will be Halloween 🎃….. God Bless ….. Brian

Hi Brian yes we enjoyed doing the taste test on these flavored potato chips. One thing we didn’t taste the salt as much as we tasted the spices. We have seen many flavored potato chips in the past but none of them we ever felt like trying until now. I can’t believe your McDonald’s had pizza and hotdogs. All McDonald’s here have never tried other foods like that. Maybe they wouldn’t try pizza since we have so many pizza restaurants around. We have not enjoyed the summer as much as we like since we have had hot and very humid weather. The day we went strawberry picking was perfect sunny and no humidity.
