Oh wow, these look really good! I’m late seeing this, but better late than never! I love this channel, Grandma & Grandpa! And of course, we are feral kitty colony carers also! This is going to be a great summertime alternative to burgers, which I get a bit tired of in the summer! Too heavy sometimes! (I’d rather have a little plate of sweet potato fries!)This is a definite recipe we will use soon! Two of our furry beauties - Gizmoe and Tommy Charles- passed away from natural causes in their teens. Nori, Suede, and Sneakers seem to be looking for them, but are very much comforted by playing with little Smudge and Mouse. Lily remains as the matriarch to all, having outlived eight of the nine kittens she had when young, before we could manage to trap her for her surgery. Gandalf, Lucy, and Lucky are particularly fluffy cats, and are happy to be shedding some of their coat to accommodate the summer heat. “Warlord”, so named because before we could trap him for surgery, he got some “battle scars” which include losing part of his right ear!, and Tigger (like in Winnie the Pooh!) are beginning to move pretty slowly due to advanced age. But they allow us to handle them enough to put flea medicine on, and to check them for pain, and to make sure they have no other problems the vet could treat. “Warlord” has long gray fur, and the most beautiful, intensely colored celadon eyes we have ever seen! He is very much the gentle “patriarch” of the colony. Our numbers have dwindled, which means that at least in our immediate area, people are doing better with spay and neuter! I’m rambling! Sorry! Our indoor (born feral) Thomas Joseph - “TJ”- is in double digit age now too! Time flies! Thanking you both again for a great channel!

Yes growing up in the 70’s I actually had a few of them but can’t remember if we got them filled with soda or did they just give them out empty and did we have a choice if we wanted one picture over another. OMG! What a blast from the past Grandma.. well I was a mid 1970’s kid and remember it all well. I was just telling my Aunt about the glasses from McDonald’s and Burger King in the 70’s. She told me she has all the Star Wars glasses from Burger King from the 1977 movie that I was a HUGE fan of. She said I could have them. We had some of the McDonald’s glasses and I remember what a thrill it was to finally get my mom to take us to McDonald’s to get those glasses . They used to actually serve the soda in them but later I remember they stopped that and would just wrap them in a McDonald’s bag and give you your soda separate, they must’ve had lawsuits of cracked glass or something . Sadly somebody always ruins it for everybody else 😮 ..I do remember the glass jars from jam that my mother had that were used as drinking glasses but they just had lines up and down on them and they also had a reusable snap on top. Boy those were the days! I would go back and live those days in a heart beat if I could. Interesting that glass funnel, I never seen them before. You made my day with this video! Thank you ! God Bless …..Brian. Update! I just called my mom and she still has two glasses with large smileys on them. One blue and the other green, she said sour cream came in them…. 😊

Hi Brian glad that I made your day with this video. The glasses bring back great memories of when I would take my children to McDonald’s to get a collectible glass. I remember when gas stations were giving out drinking glasses or steak knives when you purchased gas. Many items in the stores also came in a collectible jar or a collectible drinking glass. The supermarkets also had a promotion each week that you could purchase pieces of a dinnerware set. When the promotion ended you would have collected a whole set of dishes and serving pieces also. At times they would have a set of pots and pans to collect and you could buy a piece each week. I don’t think we will ever see that again. Have a great day!❤️Grandma👩🏻

@@GrandmaFeralnow that you mentioned it Grandma, I do remember our local supermarket in the late 70’s and early 80’s having a huge display of the set of dishes that you would collect each week. However when they gave away dishes at 5he movies , that was before my time but my mother worked a the theater in the little town she grew up in and still has one of her dishes.😊 I think it’s a great idea for companies to do it again, it’s a great promotional tool and history repeats itself so you never know ….

Wow. What memories this brings to me. We had a collection of the jelly glasses with the Flintstones on them. Also, when my Mom bought sour cream, the product came in beautiful short or tall tumbler glasses. That was something! And, a nice collection also for the parmesan cheese. @@GrandmaFeralThey're saying to display it because an influencer called "lead free mama" has a fancy machine and she tested everything for lead, arsenic and many other things she tested from the 70s including tupperware tested positive for lead and other harmful things. BUT I'm not sure how much is true and how much she's fear mongering to bring viewers to her social media platform. It's hard to tell these days. Also pretty sure one of her kids had problems with lead, but she was redoing her house and supposedly her kid got sick from that? It's just good information to know and be aware of and judge for yourself. Even plastic is bad we use too much of it.

Thanks so much for sharing this with us. As we all know, the McDonald's of today bears no resemblance to the McDonalds's of the 1970's. The characters appear to be long gone and "Ronald McDonald" is seldom seen if at all, today, likely due to "woke nonsense."
