Well my opinion of Herrick would be that he was a baddie but he kept on tempting Mitchell to kill because he knew deep down that Mitchell couldn't handle with the hunger of killing against.But Herrick tempted him too much which caused him to loose control and kill once again,and Herrick got what he wanted to Mitchell to do but to get him there Herrick had to control and manipulate both Mitchell's mind and the rest of his body.
