Herring and Whiting Fishing, Blackwood River Augusta W.A.

We trek down to one of our favourite places in the SouthWest and get into a couple of days of fishing in some windy conditions. We fished in luxury by stealing my OldMans bigger tinny as we knew the wind wouldn't be nice, was great to get a couple of lines wet and the bonus was catching dinner for the next couple of nights!

I love this channel. It's definitely one of my favourites. That boat is so nice. Perfect size for a beach launch. Even 420 would be fantastic. We are getting plenty of storms here at the moment. So i haven't been fishing. Well done, both of you. Great fishing. Great channel 👌

Cheers Nath mate, much appreciated! 👍👍 Yeah it's a lovely setup, the hulls on those Outlaws ride so so nice for a factory boat. Nice wide hull too! Super easy to beach launch even on solo missions. Only issue is it needs a bigger fuel tank as its still a stock 20l. Yeah I see so much weather hitting over your way hey! Hectic summer for ya'll! @oldmate_adventures yes. Mate. We haven't had a summer yet. I think it might hit us hard soon. February will warm up. Always does. Yes. 20ltr definitely not enough for a good days fishing. Always need that extra back up. Especially in the wind

Cheers Paul!! Happy New Year too you to mate 🎉🍻! Arrr I eat bugga all sugar to be honest (other than snakes 😄) and like a whiskey here n there so I mix it with a lil coke zero and mostly soda water. Full coke would send me round the bend 🤪. Oh nice one! Yeah I love the Hulls of the Outlaws as a factory boat, very nive ride and dry for a open tinny. Nice and wide but options would be good would be underfloor fuel tank (only has a 20lt tank 👎), better carpet and sealed floor with self drainin decks.

Hey Podge, our olds live out near Dardanup mate so yeah we sometimes camp up there to do repairs and catch ups, we also do a bit of farm sitting and house sitting if back in the southwest. 👍👍

@@oldmate_adventures yeah we got a 4 of crabs yellowfin king George a big flounder that got off as I tried to lift it in the boat and a flatty and my Grama and pop have a two story house near the hospital
