Nice. Something I can make for myself after making Christmas gifts. One comment: Don't be afraid to combine colors and/or finishes! You will be amazed how colors "want" to work together, no matter the colors. Genius, Kelly!

This idea is a "project saver" for me! Thank you, Kelly. I was right at the point of cutting apart an entire woven necklace (circular peyote in bronze, silver and gold metallics). It's supposed to have three beaded circles that thread onto the peyote rope. I could NOT get the circle loops to attach correctly, end-to-end (the way the original designer wrote the pattern did not work for me!). So I was just going to pitch the whole idea and cut it apart. Then I stumbled across this video -literally! - minutes before taking the snips to the necklace .... and these circles work beautifully hanging around the necklace. I made three, all in combinations of the bronze, silver and gold metallics. They turned out beautifully, and now I can finish the necklace as it was meant to be worn. You saved its "life" LOL! THANK YOU!

Who-hoo! I made the hoop to make the pendant this morning. I did get psyched out because of the "not fun" comment but since I made the bracelet already I pushed through! It wasn't hard at all. I can't wait to finish. Thank you Kelly!! I used matte black 8/0 with silver 11/0 & 15/0 with jet hematite bicones. It's SO pretty!!

Kudos to you, Kelly. Just finished this earring and it's a beauty. I used brown tones with Swarovski Golden Shadow bicones. Now, I just have to do the other one. I also love Herringbone stitch; one of my very favorites.

Hi Kelly Beautiful as always. I love this design even more because Herringbone is one of my favourite stitches. It looks complicated but its not - its easy. I also love the black and silver. I'm going to try and gold/black as I prefer gold to silver. Could we have more designs using Herringbone please? Thanks for the video and you have a blessed day. Chris from OZ.

Hi Kelly, I am a beginner beaded and I am loving your channel. You explain things so everyone can understand, thank you so much. I have a question, can this pattern be adjusted to accommodate 12 or 14 bicones? I would like to use 2 different color bicones. An odd number would put to of the same color back to back. Thank you so much for any help you could give me.

Kelly, another wonderful tutorial!! My fave color combo is the purple, orange, lime green. Was wondering if 4mm Fire polish could be used instead of the Swarovski bicones. P.S.: when I first saw these I thought how cute they would be as crowns for Barbie dolls.

Kelly, I love the herringbone hoops, but am having difficulty, and I hope you can help. The ladder stitch beginning where you look down at the holes are still there at the end and ruined the look. How do I prevent this next time?
@carolvenable68809 жыл бұрын
Penny Michalski , I am also having a hard time with this for the necklace. I have made all the other parts but this ladder & stepping up is nothing like the bracelet. Kelly please help.
@pennymichalski90449 жыл бұрын
Carol Venable On my 4th try I realized what she was doing in the video. (At first my herringbone was going in opposite directions???) You go UP the (side) of the 15's. Its all in the tension right from the beginning then those first stitches will curve around. Joining that last 15 from underneath was confusing. I finally was able to make an earring. 4 tries, about 12 hours altogether! It's beautiful!

Penny Michalski Thanks Penny...I will begin another try tomorrow. I must complete this necklace. ;-)
