I'm 62 and not what you would call a country music fan, with the exception of artists like Bonnie Raitt. I'm primarily into Classic Rock with a love for most things 60s and 70s. You dropped into my hemisphere because of your truly fantastic covers of Unchained Melody and My Maria (I chuckled because you referenced Brooks and Dunn and not BW Stevenson, the writer and, in my opinion, still unmatched version of that song). And because of this, the beauty of KZbin now has dropped this in my rotation and has me listening to this song (Hers Ain't Mine), I suppose you would call it Modern Country. And I like it. This is how it starts-I guess you can teach an old dog (to like) new tricks. Thank you sir!
