Another nice video clip. Think part of the appeal of it is the memories it brings of what were more 'simpler' times...we may have had less, but perhaps we were happier because we didn't have all the 'issues' we have now? Go to say the buses looking good in the sunshine...but the bus station at the start was tad grim?

Thanks. I'm way to young to have memories of when most of these types in service, other than Routemasters and Leyland Nationals (just about, I don't remember ever travelling on a National in normal service but I do remember seeing a couple of them). But although I like to see the older types, especially rare or significant vehicles such as T792 and RM1, it's often the more 'modern' types such as Nationals that I'm most excited to see and that's likely because I do have some memories of those, as well as the fact that they tend to be less common at these running days than RTs, RFs and RMs. Sometimes I prefer cloudy weather so filming in the direction of the Sun isn't a problem, but that's less of an issue by this time of year and in this case I agree they did look good in the sunny weather. I see what you mean about Stevenage bus station. I've never really thought of it before, possibly because I'm just used to it always looking that way. In some ways it is a better design than some modern bus stations though, at least in terms of the layout for the buses. Buses don't have to reverse out, there's plenty of space for them to turn (not always the case at Watford Junction for example) and passengers don't cross the road in multiple places. It does however take time to walk round the edge.
