Love your model. I have virtually all of the Spark 1/43 Porsche 963s. I am waiting on your Hertz model to complete the collection. Congardulations.

The Spark standard version will come out soon. I think they will have corrected the minor flaws in the decals and the antenna on the front will also be bigger.

Your reviews are just super detailed and entertaining, thank you very much for that. I will not buy this car because the surcharge over the standard version of Spark is still too high for me. However, the implementation is really successful and I think the Jota car is really beautiful. However, I just treated myself to the RSR of the Iron Dames as a Spark 1:18. I'm already looking forward to the 24 hours in two weeks.

Interestingly, the regular Spark editions of these 963 dealer editions will feature a few updates on some of the models. They for instance will have a longer front antenna. And on the model of the #75 Le Mans 2023 car the black and white paint scheme behind the number 75 on each side of the model will reflect the car as it was (contrary to the dealer edition). Edit: still making up my mind on which Spark 963 to get: the #75 or the Jota - which I saw win at Spa this year. In any case, I think they are no less good than Looksmart's 499P, which I sent back because the panel gap in the front wheel arches (which isn't there on the real car or on Looksmart's own 1/43 version) really put me off: i wish I hadn't noticed it ;-) Anyway, thanks for another thorough review!

The "full" spark versions are usually if not always more detailed and correct than early dealer editions. I've held out on the 43rd scale #75 dealer edition, have a preorder on the normal spark. I like the 2023 Le Mans centenary / 75th Porsche livery, even if the cars didn't succeed. The Daytona winner is nice too, but that LM livery clinches it for me. I Do like the Jota gold as well.

Thanks for the additional insight! It does seem Spark uses these dealer editions as try outs sometimes. However with the 1998 GT1 they did the opposite! On the standard car they released first the rear lights were a bit off, a bit too small. They seem to have corrected that with the later Dealer edition...

@@rpsmodelcarreviews the 911 GT1-98 rear quarter panel shape is off on spark, not the right curve and radius too small. I mean the black bit aft of cockpit, it's too pointy. It's even worse on the hpi version, which is otherwise excellent. I have a cheapy old minichamps, and the decals arent quie right and detail is not as nice, but at least they got that shape right. One of my favourite looking Porsches. The gold warsteiner test livery looks even better the Le Mans winner.
