all my recent rom hacks (including rips) are made using the same custom assembler+linker and more or less the same mml compiler, which means i might finally be able to ditch mgcints very soon
also this was done by ear despite how easy it is to grab the sequence data

all the stage themes from cv bloodlines are only allowed 5 fm channels and no psg channels, so they really only have roughly the same amount of polyphony as castlevania 2 fds

In my level 1 hard mode run... I gotta tell you I cream pied Richter so hard. Was about a 20 minutes of constant creaming.

A great idea actually came to mind with this. Remember how if you enter in that one BGM combo you get Vampire Killer, Bloody Tears, and Beginning? I could absolutely see this as a proper replacement for one of the three, considering the light whip is a full powered “awakened” mode of the Vampire Killer for John
