I don't know if this will help someone but for me, I found it easier just by multiplying the given options to the number to get the answer when solving for X. Since fractions always mess me up. For example, 14 + 8x = 70. I just did it as 14 + 8(7) = 70. 8x7=56 and 56 + 14 = 70.

On the hesi test, for questions like the one that asked for 75F on a Celsius scale, how are we supposed to know the equation C=5/9(F-32) ? Will that be stated with the question to use that? Or are we expected to go into the test just knowing that random equation ?

Thank you for the videos....although it should be more problems about the conversion from pounds to Oz, from kilometers to meters, from inches to meters etc. It help me and I pass but I had a lot of the conversions in my test and the score was not what I expected.
