If m=3, n=6, solve -m(mn). Why did you multiply 3 by -6 (in the parenthesis ), but not 6? n=6 as expressed in the question, not -6.

If we are going by PEMDAS, then in parenthesis it should have been -3(3*6) = -3(18) = -54

How many word problems are generally on the hesi? Thats generally where I have the most problems. Or that random metric conversion that is a bit left field for daily tasks...

No, you see you have to multiply not add 😊 (Product means "the result of Multiplication" therefore, the question implies that you must multiply the two numbers).

When you take the HESI how long does it take to get your scores? And how much time do you recommend one should take to study? Will we be provided the measurement conversions or do we need to come with that knowledge already in our heads? sorry for all the questions, I take the exam in 2 days.

You should receive your score immediately after completing your test. We typically recommend 4-6 weeks to study but every student is different. You will not be provided with conversion formulas so you do need to know them but you will have a calculator provided to you on the test to help with that. @@SmartEditionAcademy I do have another question. when adding or subtracting fractions both improper and proper, can I convert them into decimals, add them and reconvert into fractions? I find it easier to do it this way.

@@Cookieclickinglegacy Yes you can definitely do it that way and it's a good way to check your work too, the only thing to caution about that is sometimes it can be a little more time consuming and you have to watch the clock because it's a timed test so you want to make sure you don't run out of time and leave any questions unanswered or have to rush to finish towards the end.
