I rode 32 miles in Brown County last month. Everything but Schooner (I'm not that good!). You should definitely check out Walnut if you go back. More technical stuff, with some flow mixed in. I grew up in Indianapolis, but only just recently got into MTB now living in Texas. Wish I had been into it growing up, because I would have driven down to Brown County every weekend!

First time I ever rode this trail was the first day I ever clipped in. We rode all the way up to hesitation point. By the time we got up there I was already toast. It was the first major ride of the year for me and my knees were killing me from the new stress on them from clipping in... I had also fallen a million times lol. The trails were really dusty and that first turn going back downhill I slid out and cracked my knee on a rock and snapped my front shifter. I was stuck in the granny gear the whole way back. Literally worst riding experience of my entire life 😂

Jeff Lenosky I laid in bed at night for weeks thinking about my bitter defeat... 3 months later I went back solo. It was the hottest day in Indiana history I think. Something like 112 degrees. I rode all the way up victoriously. I knew I wouldn’t survive the ride back down with the heat so I took the road back to the parking lot.... Don’t do that... I had to be going 40-50 mph on my mtb. Most scared I have ever been on a bike 😂

Also, your comment about the dirt jump soil is turning out to be spot on. The new Hobb's hollow flow trail is opening soon and the early sections are fantastic and dry out really quick.

Awesome video! I'm gonna make it out there one of these days. Nice Anthem too by the way! Is that the 29 inch version? Also what stem length are you running? I'm still using the 100mm factory stem and I feel like I might benefit from a shorter one.

Yeah, hobbs is badass. Brown county is one of those great unknown places for mountain bike. Fast & flowy pretty much describes all of brown county which is how I like it.

Absolutely loved riding Hobbs. We did it on our last day and we were all miserably sore, but it was so fun. The climb out sucks though. Lol.
