Nope. 1080 always have bottomed out, heck it ain't even a max cush shoe with that fake side stack. Now the 1080v14 maybe can differentiate itself from that cuz it has the same compound as the More V5 which is denser. I would say the best Fresh FoamX at the moment and therefore the V5 is the King of comfort

@@leeheirbaut8154 The V5s are not close to the 1080s as far as being comfotable/soft/squishy (which suprsed me given the amount of foam in the V5s). I wore my 1080s to the NB store and put the V5s on and compared directly..not a fan of the V5s.

You got me to buy all 3 so im very lucky. i like em all, but i just need to warn people that if you are in situations where you have to stand around a lot, the balos will end up hurting your feet due to the rock and responsiveness. i loved em when i was just walking around and then sitting. but at things like sporting events or concerts where i had to stand still often, and sometimes on inclines or declines, my feet started hurting like crazy. I had some issues with my pinkie toe on the more v5s. theres nothing i dont like about the 1080s other than their current color selections (can we please get more dark soled colorways?).

Do you feel the balos has higher forefoot cushioning than the 1080 cause I don't like the low stack of the 1080, also how about the durability of the balos since the outsole is mostly EVA not rubber? Please reply cause I can only purchase one of the More or the balos

For running (Balos and 1080v13) worked fine since the ground contact would be quick but walking, slow jogging, or standing all day, I tend to over pronate and my ankles or knees were sore. Also because I'm on the heavy side I felt sluggish running in them since I probably sank more in the cushion before propelling forward. You are lucky you are getting these shoes for free and have them in rotation so they won't bottom out as fast.

First of all thank you. You put me on the Balos and they’re amazing. They’re great to walk in but they also got me back into running a little bit. They totally make me want to go out and walk/jog/run and they “disappear” almost. The nb ff more doesn’t look as good imo, hope the v6 are shaped more like the balos even with the higher stack. After watching a few more reviews after I’ve already picked them up I was concerned with their durability (outsole or lack thereof) which led me to getting the asics superblast 2 as well. I’ve only run in the sb2 once but they’re a bit of a letdown, I just hope they “break-in” as a lot of people are saying that they need. In the sb2 I experienced a little discomfort towards the back of my foot almost painful and I’m hoping it just speaks to my poor fitness level and corrects itself eventually I’m in the eu and paid 220€ for the Balos and 225€ for the SB2. If the balos become more available locally I’ll definitely pickup more pairs. Only downside for me is potentially durability and I wouldn’t mind a lower price point. The upper could be a little more breathable too but it’s fine for colder days

To add to my already long comment for context I’m 5’9” on the heavy side for my height at 185lbs. And I knew going in that the sb2 would more firm but thought it would be more comfortable running in. I’m also not really looking to shed a lot of weight as I don’t look heavy or anything just want to be more fit.

Would love to see a video comparing the fuel cell line and also the fuel cell line and the fresh foam x line together. However, maybe a way to do the total combined video if you're having trouble doing all in one video, maybe just make a video of your favorite fuel cell vs fresh foam x video. You could also do it bracket style like the NCAA final four or even break it down for your favorites in different categories like walking, standing, vacation, etc. Could be a good way to help people that are looking for the best of the bunch for a specific function.

1080v13 is ridiculous because I've always felt like it's tailored exclusively for me and it literally fits like a glove. With it on, I don't feel any extra spaces especially the ankle region which I don't ever worry about slipping out.

I have the 1080. The v12 cuz the v13 ain’t it for me. The More. V4 cuz the v5 ain’t it for me. And the rebel v4. I also have the 840v1 which is more firm than these but I really like it. Imo NB butchered the Morev5 even more than the 1080. The issue with the 1080 is instability. The issue with the more v5 is they added literally 10 mm of stack front and back and it seems like they took all the room from inside the shoe. Yea it’s still mega wide but it has no height. I have a high and wide foot. A high volume foot basically. I can’t fit into the morev5 comfortably without removing the insoles. I refuse to accept that on a $155 shoe. The rebel v4 I really love. The midsole is lit. The airy and lightweight upper is very welcome where I live in South Florida. It’s still 90+ degrees outside in October with extreme humidity. Terrible. Anyhow. If the Balos actually came in a decent color way I would be 100% be down to try it. Idk why they only have that one color, and why that color specifically. Really doesn’t make sense to me at all.

I really appreciate these videos. I bought so many boost shoes during the yeezy phase that I completely ignored other companies developing alternatives, I'm starting to come to the end of boost shoes I stocked up and I recently decided to try check out what else is out there - all of the different technologies and even just specifically the new balance product line seems so confusing to me to pick the shoe I want. Thank you for providing some clarity on these 3 pairs specifically, I am definitely interested to see you comparing these to the fuelcells. I wish they did less "sporty" uppers on some of these cushioned shoes. Also interested to see what you say about the v14!
