I’ve enjoyed the More v.4 as my easy day shoe but have been considering changing to the 1080 next time around.

I like the 1080v12, but the 1080v13 was to soft and unstable so I went with the 880. I look forward to trying the 1080v14 since new balance made some changes.

I have the More v5 and 1080v13. Both are great. More v5 took more miles to break in. Interested to try the v14.

I tried the More v5 and found the upper crushing my toes , do the 1080 v14 have more height in the toebox?

Would you go with the 1080 V 13, 14 or the Rebel?

Had the v13 and it was super unstable for me. I got the v14 and it is way more stable. Haven’t run in the Rebel but trying it on, it’s much lighter and stable than the v13 but not as comfortable

Need something with a stiff forefoot (hallux rigidus patient) and roomy toe box (rest of my foot is on the wider/more volumous side but not quite 2E). Wondering about the More v5 versus Topo Atmos in 2E (I know topo runs narrow on midfoot/heel) versus Altra FWD Via. Thoughts?

Interested in what you use for longer road runs. I think I have hallux rigidus in right foot. Was measured as a 2E width. Have been recently using Spenco Max inserts and find I like them and alleviate big toe pain. Recently been using both Brooks Glycerin 21 (nice in the 2E width, a firmer shoe than I am used to coming from Hoka's) and On Cloudeclipse. I find the Cloudeclipse a little more responsive and lighter and yet nice cushion without being too soft.

@@BobTrieste haven’t been running. Still using my endorphin shift 3 for walking, but it has been discontinued now

@@brunis_m I picked up the NB 1080 v14 and really like it; I am using a Spenco insert in place of the standard insert to help stabilize my right toe. The cushioning feels just right (like right in between the Hoka Clifton and Bondi which I had used but moved away from after realizing I need a wide). They are a little heavier than recent use in On Cloudeclipse but I plan on alternating between these two for daily training.

@@BobTrieste did you try the more v5? It’s far from uncomfortable, but after having tried a topo I feel like nothing has a wide enough toe box. Unfortunately the topo phantom 3 didn’t have enough volume height wise and on the rest of the foot.

@@brunis_m I did not get a chance to try the More v5 (nor any "More" model) as I haven't seen them after going to several stores. I had my foot measured on a scanner and the size came back 12 Wide (2E). However after trying a Brooks Glycerin 21 (fine shoes but just a touch too stiff for me) I did find the 1080 v14 to be just right as a long run shoe. I also recently have been enjoying the On Cloudeclipse which is the first On shoe for me. Their standard 12 is wider in toes than a Hoka and other models. However again when I got measured on the scanner and told the salesperson my toe issue he sold me on a "Spenco" insert with a high arch. I would not have thought that would be comfortable but it does allow me to run with less pain. I do tend to remove them when walking around. Best advice is really just to experiment. Never tried on a Topo but maybe I will next. Thanks!

They are so ugly now. I wish they bring back the version 10. Those were the best
