I can’t fault any of your choice. It’s very much similar to mine, especially on the VC and Lange Datograph but I would pick other Lange than the 1 and the JLC moon face (the reverso is a good one). For me, I would pick the PP 3970 (grail watch). I prefer more expensive time pieces than quantity.

You are a TRUE Horology fan. Letting go of the hyped Nautilis and any Rolex, and getting a piece of real history with the Speedmaster and JLC Reverso is great. A very well rounded watch collection, and a very good wishlist too. With that being said, I would recommend you to checkout the Vacheron Constantin Historiques ultra-fine 1955 edition in pink gold, its one of the most elegant dress watches of all time, and I consider it the quintessential Black-tie or formal day wear watch and will really complete your watch collection. Although the JLC reverso works a a Black-tie or formal wear watch, I just don't think that it's elegant enough to really embody the dressiness of black-tie or formal wear.

Brian if you like the memovox look up the Poljot 2612 from the 80s www.russian-watches.info/shop/russian-vintage-watches/poljot/poljot-2612-signal-type-alarm-watch-ussr/ They have versions with English instead of Cyrillic, which I think looks better. Both similar movements, but the Poljot in 14k gold is probably 10x less. You can find some for around 50 bucks on eBay.

I had GMT but I sold it because I wanted the new bezel and new bracelet. I would not sell mine if I had a faded bezel like yours Had the reverso sun moon, sold it too because it seems a tad small for my taste I love the Lange 1 too but don’t see myself spending $30k so end up buying the cheaper version GO panomaticlunar in rosegold Those are 3 mistakes I made. I wished I didn’t do it but all my watch don’t have a sentimental value like your cartier tank so it is just hard to hold on to it. Maybe I have to start buying watch when it does mean something so I have a story to tell when I wear them

The bezel insert on my GMT was actually one that I bought from a trusted seller on eBay--it was not the one that came with the watch when I purchased it, though the one I got was true to the year of the watch. The dial had also been replaced at some point, so it wasn't truly, 100-percent a 1977.

I like your channel and don't want to come across as un-gentlemanly, but I am confused by your priorities? In other videos you say you are not wealthy, that you drive the simplest of sportscars and that you do not have a large enough closet for your clothes collection. So, to purchase a $100K Datagraph seems like a very weird choice to make. Maybe you should make a video on how average folk can afford high-end watches.

Finally, the watch collection that we've been waiting for. I like how most of your watches now are dress watch that's simply elegant & versatile to wear. Speaking of watch, I also want to share mine. I just repaired my dad's old Bulova Chronograph 2 months ago. I accidentally found it in his closet when I was tidying up, so I asked him about it. Turns out he bought it all the way back to 90s even before I was born, so it's a quite a historical one. I asked him to go to repair it, along with his Longines since it also needed maintenance at that time. So glad I found it that day and now that it's fixed, it becomes mine and I wear it in rotation with my Seiko Chronograph. It has gold dial, rotating bezel, and gold stripe on its steel bracelet. Just a bit story of mine, really shows that watches are really intriguing & fascinating pieces of art. Thanks for doing this video, Brian. Cheers

couldnt agree more about lange jlc an if a may add for my its also vc and de bethune. I also really like hmoser and the endeavour aventurine dial perpetual moonphase in one my favorite watches over all. And one of the best engineered ones as well. The jlc master perpetual in also on my list. my favorites could not be completed without omega. There are a few grand seiko, rolexes, pateks, ap that i like and also respect zenith and breitling.

Omega watches are on the rise to be number 1. The pointed crown ADs should be in jail for wrecking their watch reputation. People buy luxury for the whole buying experience not just for the timepiece. Omega ADs are the pinnacle of great customer experience.
